  1. The Boss 351 had an Autolite 4300-D spread bore carburetor that fit on that intake. They were often swapped for Holley's and not that many survived. The original carburetor is worth around $4k these days.
  2. The Boss 351 is the only small block on the list.
  3. The Boss 351 had a higher performance version of the 351 engine and was as quick as the 429 Mach 1 but handled better. If you want the real thing check this out, same color as one on box but a little more expensive. https://www.hemmings.com/listing/1971-ford-mustang-490109
  4. The Boss 351 came with a one year only version of the 351 Cleveland that made 330 HP instead of 285. It was considered an "R" code engine, only 1,806 were produced and this engine was detuned in 72 and gone forever after that. They had planned to go racing with it like the Boss 302 but Ford dropped out of racing while this car was being developed. The Boss 351 also came with some items that were an option for the Mach 1. It was just as quick as the 429 Mach 1 in some tests.
  5. Yeah, the engine bay looks amazing. I am glad I found this forum it has been really interesting reading the comments. I plan to build this, how could I not, and will likely come back to read tips on how to get the best result.
  6. The Marti doesn't say how many Boss Mustangs had these wheel covers, just that this car is the only one with these options.
  7. Hi, thanks for the comments. These are one piece wheel covers. I also had a set of Magnum 500's but liked these due to being what the car was ordered with. These are not original, the previous owner found a set of NOS ones. They look a lot like regular wheels and a few have been broken (not mine) due to using air tools on the "lugs".
  8. Here is the copy of the window sticker.
  9. Hi, I am a little late to this thread but that was my Boss 351 they scanned for the model. It was ordered with Sports Wheel Covers for $23 according to the Marti report. The car is not perfect but overall pretty good. I have not heard when the model is coming out.
