  1. Looking good so far. Wheels will suit this build. Love that exhaust tip although you wouldn't want it with bagged suspension.
  2. For the rear l have also removed the original cross member and am fabricating my own set up with lengths of sprue. I'll be using the rear axle, springs and shocks pictured.
  3. IFS installed with dropped spindles.
  4. Original cross member is removed.
  5. I have started fabricating the front suspension set up by swapping out the stock I beam with independent front suspension. To get the stance I want I've mocked up some crude spindles which will be hidden by the wheels. Here you can see the piece's of the original cross member cut from the chassis
  6. Thanks Slusher.
  7. Thanks Jim. Here's a pic of my 37.
  8. Thanks Bob. ??
  9. Thanks Doyle
  10. Thanks Larry.
  11. Well engineered Roger. It pays homage to the early custom rods of the 50s and 60s.??
  12. Nice! I love adventurous paint jobs. Your attention to detail inspires me.
  13. Bro, you got it right the first time. I've always liked that light and dark same colour two tone theme. Those Hasagawa vw kit's go together well. Simple static kits but crisp body detail. I did my T2 delivery in the SoCal style. P.S. Love the garden cafe. Keep up the good work Conrad, and remember the etic, "build it your way". Cheers, David. ??
  14. Nice build Bob. I would never have thought to use a navy blue on a street rod but you nailed it. ??
  15. Thanks Doug, I glued the doors shut but they worked OK before I did. The bed cover I scratch built with styrene sheet so as to hide the cut up bed floor. Again, thanks. Your feedback is welcome and appreciated. ??
  16. I built this Lindberg "DODGE FEVER" A100 with intent on a slammed ride height which I achieved. Down side is with the mods I've made it was near impossible to have running gear. So with that said I built it as a static model. Paint is Tamiya Ts20 metallic green and Ts26 pure white. Cowl vent and masking is a bit messy but looks OK on the shelf. Thanks for looking. All feedback is welcome. Cheers, David.
  17. Thanks John, I like to think outside the box.
  18. Thanks Greg, much appreciated.
  19. Thanks David, much appreciated.
  20. Hi Dan, nice 1:1 Beetle. I got the BRM's on ebay which come with the tyres. A German hobby store called ScaleProduction supplies them. They have some great stuff.
  21. Thanks Chris. Your Springboks are on fire brother. Our Wallabies didn't stand a chance. ??
  22. I love this truck. We never had these in Australia, only the Ford F100 range. Wheels make it pop. Again, great build.
  23. Thanks guys. Your feed back is much appreciated. ??
