  1. Motor Magic 19641/2 hard top body. Acme Charlie Kemp Shelby GT350 chassis. Chassis is plastic which helps. Trimmed inside rocker panels. Trimmed rear wheel houses posts where GT 350 body mounted. I still have to shorten the interior to hardtop size and cut the carb hat off so the hood closes. My Dremel tool is old and runs too fast, need a new one. Working on a better way for photos.
  2. Lost track that I joined this site. Thanks for the kind words. The car on the right is box stock Acme model. This is a 1967 street Camaro. It could be from a Highway 61 mold. The other one features the Acme body and the engine/chassis is from a GMP 1967 Heinrich Chevy-land Camaro. Lots of grinding on the body and trimming on the chassis. Currently working on a 1966 Trans Am Mustang using a Motor Max 1962 1/2 Mustang for the body and an Acme Charlie Kemp GT-350 for the chassis. The Motor Max is under $50.00. It's the only hard top model I've found. The hard top is plastic and comes off. Great for fitting the interior from the GT-350. Photos coming to the WIP section.
  3. Following the history of the car on the box, basic streetcar when first raced, then used another race Camaro for the chassis combined the two. A fair amount trimming and cutting was done. The rear valence didn't get back on because the chassis is diecast and the fuel cell sticks out too far. The trunk doesn't close right now. I have fiddle with the fuel filler to get it to close.
  4. IMSA and Trans Am fan
