A few years ago I had a model that had won a fairly major contest (for Toronto area) on display at a full-size car show (outside). It was a scorcher, and the car was in one of those acrylic display cases. The clear cover of the case had a bellybutton-like mold mark on the top of it. When I got home, I realized that my car's top was sagged in the middle, and the lacquer paint was crazed in a number of areas!!! I thought that the "bellybutton" had acted as a magnifying glass to focus the sun's rays on the center of the roof, but I see now that it may have sagged without the help of the clear case. A good caution to put out there to others I guess. mudshark
