From an old man, you can't rebuild or improve memories. Consider gentle repairs before "fixing".

Nice work so far. Is the plough scratch built or part of the kit?
Part of kit. I made chain and hoses .

Thanks everyone. I have been having extreme troubles with paint lately. I airbrushed the wagon 5 times. R/t gave up on craft paint, shot it with rustolium, it cam out like a firehose. Interior the paint either gummed or wouldn't cover. Craft or enamel, brushed or air...... that's why I say final. Unless they come out with level 4/5 70 chevelle, 69 gto or a scout 800 anyway.

A couple of nice builds. That 65 Malibu looks like a real grocery-getter from the suburbs. Pretty decent Mopar also, interior is really nice.
Thanks. I like to build them as oem or like we drove them.

What is the kit ?

I've used diluted iron oxide craft paint, steel wool soaked in vinegar or black wash. Always over flat black paint. My under glass posts show undersides.

While I do enjoy seeing everyone's builds that show me how inept I still am,I'm really here for HELP.
I've used air but with ink rarely with paints.
Use craft paints diluted 1:1 water. 20 lbs air. Plugs, spits or floods. Swirl in jar,in coats then fades to translucent to clean fairly quickly.
Bought a nylon coffee strainer, paint barely drains through it. Should it pour right through it ?
Had drill on high to mix, created massive bubbles. Assuming THAT caused issues with spray. Back on low ,just mix NOT blend.....
I tried alcohol once but the paint turned to gum ,so afraid of that unless I test with small amounts I guess. Any answers or opinions ??

Nice job !
Can it be built without the spoiler? I had a 69 silver gto convertable I would love to build.

I am so glad I follow your thread. EXCELLENCE!!
I wanted to build this particular rig in the worst way. I almost picked it up last month.
Reading through your build diary, I realize I am no where near ready or capable of doing the big rigs yet.
Thanks for posting your progress, tips and information, it is all very informative!

I think those may be the optional side window b-pillars for the '68 Road Runner kit..part 49 looks like an armrest for an interior door panel?
Not armrests, front and rear have them molded in. The backs do have pins.
