    This was my solution to the warped body issue. I live in Arizona, so I strapped it to a piece of brick nice and flattened out, and set it out in direct 110 degree sunlight all day, then brought it in and let it cool for a few hours. it did stay straight.

    late to the party, but I just bought an AMT GT350 shelby model kit and the body is twisted. grumble.. I'm going to try the block/heat freeze method. thanks! d
