  1. It's going to be stopping in Ft.Worth Thursday the 10th of October 2024. Not sure how long of a stop but going to go check it out and bring my tripod and big camera.
  2. Hello, My name is Jerry and I live south of Weatherford Texas. That's about an hour West of Dallas/Ft.Worth. I'm originally from Kalamazoo MI. born and raised. Moved south in 2003. Couldn't stand the winters any more. I started building models as a young kid. Then life took up my time. Now I'm retired I started back up and really enjoy it. I mainly build cars and trucks. 1/24, 1/25 scale. I've been painting with an airbrush for years and love it for model building. I've tried pretty much all types of paint and like old school lacquer but have made the change to more environmentally friendly paints. Createx is my go to paints 99% of the time. I love their products and their videos on how to. I do use 2K clears to finish. I like to research the kits I build for accuracy and if I'm building it to stock spec's I try to match the original paint codes and interior colors. I also like customizing kits. Big blown engines, raising or lowering. Kit bashing is a blast. I try to customize and detail stuff myself and not buy those aftermarket parts, but I have. Anyway I love model building and love checking out other people's builds. Thanks yall. See ya out there. Jerry
  3. Thank you Mark. I appreciate your response and knowledge. Looking at the different years and their prices had me baffled. I always try to find the best details and problems. Thanks for your help. Now I'm off to shopping for a Gremlin.
  4. Hello, I am looking to build an AMC Gremlin and would like to find out which kit everyone prefers. What I have found are the 74, 75, and 76 kits and I am wondering which is the best to purchase. I like the 76 but have read that some people stay away from that year. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much Jerry
