  1. Back from my first semester at college and decided to relieve stress from final exams and celebrate my birthday by building another car. Still have yet to get an airbrush kit but I've started to use spray cans for pieces I know require the same colors. This kit was fun to build and I want to buy it again and build it in the race version. Also, I'm trying to experiment with stripping the kit chrome and painting the "metal" pieces with my own so if any people have any pant suggestions for that, please let me know
  2. My longest and most detailed build. I decided to try stripping the plastic chrome that comes with the kit and spraying it myself, I like how it turned out despite it being my first time. I’m impressed with the paint job, but in the future I’d like to re-attempt this kit to get cleaner lines. This hobby is super fun and I enjoyed doing the research and playing around with different colors. This kit is by Revell.
  3. This is a 1971 Oldsmobile 442 W-30, this kit is by Revell. I just graduated high school so I treated myself to this super neat kit I've been eyeing for a while. I decided to build it with a manual transmission because I've never driven one of those before. I enjoyed this car because I got to learn more about the insides and outs of how it was built and the changes that were made to it past its original release. This build was cool because it's the first model I've done that had an option for wheels that spin. I took a different approach to building this time by painting all the parts first and then assembling them. Still no airbrush but I'm fine with brush painting for now, I find it gives me more control. Overall, I'm happy to see my improvement in the fine details, but applying the decals without decal soft was very difficult (I have since invested in some decal soft lol).
  4. I'm VERY new to model building and discovered this forum while goofing off in class, but I'm enjoying doing more and more research on different cars and learning tips from other people on YouTube and stuff. Everything I do is hand-painted (minus the body which my dad spray paints) but hopefully, I can save up enough soon to get an airbrush kit because the cars done with an airbrush look INCREDIBLE. My next one is a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air and I'm super excited...Anyway, here are my first 2 projects: a Porshe 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupe and a 1967 Chevy Impala
