  1. I’ll look forward to seeing your progress on it! Are you wanting to do an exact replica, or is there some changes you’d make??
  2. Sometimes it’s good to downsize, I’m working on doing the same thing. I have a lot of models I know someone else would do a better job at than I would. (Usually those ones were bought exclusively for parts) If you ever need parts for a build, let me know I’ll see if I can help!
  3. Thanks Dan! I’m liking the work you’re doing with ‘modified’ track cars! Im going to be anticipating seeing you build the 32 Tudor you were referencing in the Tudor thread! Awesome looking car, and an awesome looking model to be in sure!
  4. A long benched project that needs to get back on track to completion. I made the rear truck arms out of dental glosser picks, It just hit me one night that those could work as neat looking suspension components.
  5. That’s an interesting change of course! Are you going to stance it like it’s launching as it is in the reference photo?! I’m excited to see how she’ll turn out!
  6. I really like this one! 70 darts are beautiful cars! That 68 dart kit is a great base too! Are you gonna go with the Dana 60 or the 8 3/4 axle? I’ve got a Hemi under glass barracuda that I’ve reverted to ‘factory stock’ because I wanted accurate floor pans and firewall before I started customizing it. Engine wise, It’s now a tossup between a turbo’d 340 4 gear or a 413 with a cross ram and 4 gear. I stole a Dana 60 out of a 68 dart kit for the axle in that car too!
  7. Never mind, just saw this post. Awesome build either way you go with the wheels!
  8. I really like this build! Is this an ordinary kit or a one off?! I’ve never seen an xy in scale
  9. Hello all! Im new to this forum, and this community build really caught my eye! I have a lot of builds that I could see myself motoring accross the great states in… but most of them don’t fit the regulations. I feel I’ve found a build that’ll fit in very well, so without further a due , I’d like to introduce my contribution to the race… it’s a 1955 ford f100 it has a Lincoln 430 with a Latham blower and side draft carbs backed by a manual transmission and a 9” rear from a 57 ford custom. It’s going to be a full restoration of a period correct pre 1960 rodded truck .
  10. Thanks ewetwo! I see you’’be been a huge contributor to a lot of members builds! I’ll have to keep an eye out for what you’re working on! I take it you have a treasure trove of parts and models to be built! Keep me posted! cheers
  11. I appreciate the warm welcome Zippi! And I’m looking forward to seeing your progress on your 41 gasser!! I’ve always had a thing for gassers, and that custom flathead, detailed suspension and that transmission have my eyes locked in on that build! cheers!
  12. Thanks Tim! did you build the model in your profile picture?? Gorgeous ride right there! I’m having trouble finding what you’re working on, would you mind sending me a link?? cheers
  13. Thanks PappyD! This seems like my kinda forum! What are you working on??
  14. Thanks Slusher! While I was browsing, I saw that you’re in the running for the cannonball run build (love that idea for a community build theme)! I like your car of choice, and I’m excited to see what you’ll do with it!
  15. Hello everyone My name is Sunny I’ve been building models for years, and have been a frequent visitor of this site for some time. I’ve decided that it’s time to become a member. I build a little bit of everything, but my main focus is 50s/60s cars, hot rods, and 90s Japanese cars. I’ve appreciated this site for the wealth of knowledge and inspiration it provides; as well as the community that exists here. It’s time that I add my inputs to the group where I can. Cheers!
