  1. I like the way Splash Paint sprays and their service is great. The only issue I have is their colors aren't always correct. Their Hemi orange was actually Go Mango and the Mango was Hemi orange. I recently got some Matador Red and it wasn't a good match for the 1957 color used by Chevy. Way too red and not enough orange tint to it. It's actually closer to the 1968 Matador Red. I bought MCW and it was perfect. for the 1957. I know there are 2 matador reds depending on the year but they need to be more specific about what years the color is representing. You can't go by the color on the computer.
  2. I bought some Mission Model paint a couple years ago and decided to test it. They have a color that's called Irridescent Plum Purple. It's a real close match to Plum Crazy purple. It has a very fine metallic which matches the original Plum Crazy better than the new stuff from Zero and Gravity paints. The original had a very subtle metallic. You can try adding a touch of their red irridescent to see if you can get the color even closer since we all see red tones slightly different.
  3. I just want to share my experience with Gravity colors. I saw many negative reports on Gravity USA so I purchased direct from Gravity in Spain. Oustanding service. I was stunned when I placed an order on 3/26/25 and it shipped the next day. Today is 3/31 and the packge was delivered. Three bottles of paint ordered and delivered in 5 days from Spain to Oregon. I wish American hobby shops were this fast. I can't wait to try the paint. I hear it's better than Zero which I've had good results with. The price of %.95 Euros is cheap compared with most model paints. The bottle is a full one ounce.
