The oil pan is in my opinion oversized and the transmission is rounded. Got an engine from a REVELL snap together I'm thinking about putting in there along with the radiator but going to have to modify the chassis if I ever get around to it.

Didn't see which Detroit engine AMT American LaFrance fire rigs come with. Did I miss it?? Also, the Trumpeter ALF Eagle has a molded in transmission and engine, curious as to what make they are.

Hey, thanks guys! Been working on a couple of AMT Kenworth trucks, one the recent reissue of the K100 and the other the W925. Looking for info on detailing the engines with hoses and such.
