Well it's finished fairly happy with this. First hilux I've built not my usual thing I was going to build the Brian James trailer I've got but this is lifted way too high for it

Bought a load of resin parts from ebay wheels for my 1/12 240z wheels/pandem rear wing/lowered hubs and upgraded brake for the 1/12 skyline i just ordered. Got them from a company called Demon resins fantastic quality required basically no cleaning up i highly recommend them. Pics of the 240z wheels are on my completed 240z thread

i generally do all the body painting door assemblies first then as they are curing start on the sub assemblies so by time paint cured i can start installing the suspension then all other parts are pre painted on the trees by hand then just a case of assembly

deffo wouldn't take the weight the plasterboard has been up since the 60s and is crumbly in places

thats true however are lined internally with plasterboard flats are a basic concrete box with all internal rooms separated with plasterboard walls
