  1. The quality and attention to detail your models is artwork. Not everyone has the talent, ability, and finesse it takes to accomplish what you have. It is easier (?) as the scale gets larger. That is why Conti, Wingrove, ect, have standardised around 1:15 scale. You have exacting, engineer's mind. That is GOOD!

  2. I have been in and out of the hobby for many years (don't ask). I got married in 1967. Still have the same wife and new (then) house. I am from a large family (8 kids) Settled down in Newark, DE. Dad was in the Air Force. Retired in 1963. Moved to Elkton, MD. His home town. I graduated in 1964 tried to join the AF. Got rejected. I saw the most beautiful girl at McDonalds. Fell in love instantly. I actually met her two weeks later. I was hooked! Been here ever since. She is angel and lets me get away with more than I deserve. So, here I am. I am 79, love toy trains, models of all types and airplanes. I love R/C and plastic models. My inner kid will not grow up! Old yes, just not up. I still have most of the model car mags from the '70s. I also love to work on scooters, motorcycles and mowers. I drive a bus part time for our local senior center (that's fun). I like to tell the older passengers jokes. Some of them are inappropriate though. They still laugh.
