Finally got the body in paint. I had several bad paint reactions. Now to wait on the 1970 annual tail lights, spoiler and grill i found on ebay to come in. Still gotta do some interior detailing and some chassis detailing.

So no update today. I was hoping to have the body in paint but unfortunately the paint reacted with the primer so into some ipa it went. Its the fastest way to remove tamiya paints. Hopefully ill get it into some tamiya primer tomorrow ill have to mix some up.

Currently I am working on converting the 71 mercury cyclone stock car kit into a street car using the revell 70 torino kit. I'll post updates as I go and move through the conversion. I haven't decided on using either the 429 cobra jet or the boss 429 from the cyclone. If I use the cyclone engine it looks like I'll have to notch the shock towers.

Hey everyone, I'm Casey I'm 34 and I have been modeling since I was around 8 years old, if you can call only painting a snap kit's interior at 8 years old modeling. But hey, it got me into the hobby. I used to post in the scale auto mag forum around 2012-2015 I think. Anyways, I'm glad to be here and hope to learn a lot more about the hobby.
