just curious if anyone can explain why American trucks have massively long chassis'? Better ride quality? Easier to back? Harder to find a park? What's the reason behind it?

I have a model that was molded in red. Its a light to medium tan after paint and has been sitting waiting for me to build. What would be a good interior color other then black that would look good.??? I was thinking a burgundy satin. Would like to hear some ideas before I paint it.....Thanks

i am working on getting back into the hobby after being away for, um, well, too many years. LOL. I have been collecting some model kits during those years, so now I am starting on building them. If they turn out okay I may even look into entering some in model car contests. I have a few trophies from years and years ago when I used to enter contests. In addition I am going to be working on building slot cars and maybe a few radio control cars.
