  1. Awe c'mon, fix the dent man. Then build the replica.
  2. I'm seeing this in Cragars, scavenger pipes and raised a bit.
  3. Opinions are like coffee, except I ask for coffee.
  4. I was faced with this problem in reverse, I was able to score an original AWB Comet with no glass and used the newer glass to replace it. This application worked but I've never had the glass from the Dyno Don car so I can't say for sure if it's narrower than the newer version.
  5. Going through my stash and finding a Monogram E-Jag coupe I forgot I had. The Egal is one step closer, Sweet!
  6. Sounds like bad lighting and too much caffeine Bill.
  7. A semi stock '66. (The rear wheel openings on the HUG are radiused ).
  8. Just waiting for my son to move and I'm getting out of Dodge.
  9. I've lived in my neighborhood for 40 odd years, it was pretty quiet when I moved in but now I've got cherries flashing once every couple weeks, progress?!?!, Not so much.
  10. These two have a lot more potential than I thought they would.
  11. Good to see you went the full detail route, keeping an eye on this build.
  12. It's always the smallest bits of a project that move at warp speed after hitting the floor.
  13. I had the Chev., seemed a little small for 1/24th scale.
  14. Certainly sounds like your firewall has blocked her email.
  15. I'm no expert by any means but it sounds to me like your firewall may be blocking that account for some reason. Are you able to send and receive emails from other friends?
  16. Can you send emails to their account?
  17. Over the last 40 years I've amassed a plethora of extra parts so if I have a specific part already in my stash I'd much rather use that because it costs me nothing. So unless a caster wants to pay me to use their offerings I'll stick to the 'free' stuff I have on hand.✌️Nothing beats free stuff.
  18. I'm out of purgatory and can now reply to comments in real time. Nice!
  19. I might add a fine, flat, metal file, some emery boards and a suggestion, if you want a good looking end result, cherry out the body 'cause that's the first and possibly only thing you're going to see when the finished kit is on the shelf.
  20. Thanks for the responses gentlemen, I think I have one of the ASA T-birds in my stash from a purchased lot I'll take a look. RancheroSteve, I've had zero good luck with resins so I avoid them like the plague. ( And I'm Cheap ).
  21. That's too bad, I think they would be a perfect fit as they are already shaped for the rear fender and don't intrude on the feature line. Well, carry on any way I'm sure you'll sort something out.
  22. Testors and Union models made copies of the original IMC kit, if I'm not mistaken only the convertible had the upgraded custom parts.
  23. I designed and built machinery for automation, it was cool and hard.
  24. I prefer your build without the fender skirts but maybe you just haven't found the right ones, any chance you could get your hands on the IMC '48 items?
