  1. Ok, little update. I got some of the decals applied, and most of the parts to be installed are painted. Rear end also is nearly done, just finishing it up.
  2. Wow guys, I thank you guys fir the many helpful comments, and I will check out the afformentioned sites asap.
  3. I wish I could find some, I live in Kentucky, and I have never seen anything like that before. I am surprised you guys like it, seeing as most other modelers do a much better job. I have a question though. Where could I find some flakes to put in my paint that would be thin enough to run through an airbrush (Testors Mighty Mini) and look nice on a model?
  4. Oh I am sorry to hear that. But I will say this, it isn't much to look at. The interior and tubeframe are joined, as well as the motor mounted. The motor is a Chevrolet Bog Block 598 dual carbureted, 1100 horespower producing beast. It has the most chrome I have ever seen on a model, and the shiny Moroso valve covers add to the "tricked out" look. However, other than the blower cowling on the hood, there is no air filtration. I weathered one of the tires with sand paper and plan to do the rest. Thw whole car isn't much more than a bunch of tubeframes, so it is not extremely hard to assemble, due to the total simplicity of the entire car. It has nitrous injection and some cool flame decals I plan on applying. These are a few of the many plans I have for this model.
  5. So is this a problem for just you or everyone? Please let me know ASAP so I can fix. A picture thread isn't worth looking at without pictures, now, is it?!
  6. Hello everybody! I am an ameteur modeler, but I do thoroughly enjoy the hobby. This is the 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air Pro-Street Rod I am working on from the Revell Streetburner Series. I have airbrushed it purple, and this is what I have accomplished thus far : What do you guys think?
