Finally!!! I have wondered why there has been no 1:24 DS kit before, seeing that we already have it in 1:16 and 1:43 and it being such an icon of cardesign. I will have to get me some of these when they come out
I have a 1:24 die cast DS from FABBRI, it is italian, it is a 1963 model nice molded and you can find a cab from WELLY.

awesome job you do Bill. Need some motors for my waiting projects.

I discovered sometimes ago the begining of this BarnDoor, incredible work.

part id for the carbs is P-11B. The aluminium stacks will be ideal for a dragster version
-
very nice duo of aircooled

the wheels seemed to be 16inch in scale? right? I need this kit if yes.

What tires are you using to get the right big and little effect? I have a bunch of VW projects ready and waiting. I did get a set of the BRM's.
Kevin
front tires are from a 2cv tamya kit, rear from my spare box, waiting for almost 20 years in it, they are racemaster super stock, 8.00*15, old mpc origins if I remember well, If an historian of the tire in scale can confirm my telling....

Nice shifter! Why are the mufflers blue? Never seen that before.
the mufflers are from my spare box, they come from an old kit, but I do not which one. They are not painted in black for the moment.
thanks for your comments.

Nice job on the twin muffler and T bars. Is the Hurst shifter fabricated too?
I had a `67 Cal Look back in the 80's. Sweet car, wish I had it now…..
yes the shifter is fabricated, it is more inspired by a Berg one than a Hurst, the late one has a differente shape than this.

I always loved VW fast street cars. I have a 1:1 scale one.
This build is a tribute to the 70's cal look with all their display attribute. Pics are better than words.
A dechrome body with OG paint, BRM wheels, etc...
Next step, paint the body.

If you follow any of my builds, you will know I only do factory stock, my models depict a car waiting in a showroom waiting to be sold, which is why all my builds have no number plates on
sorry, I didnt want offend you, I am newbie on the forum, it was just a question

like it. Will it be totally stock or the total cal look treatment? Nice model revell has created.

The Hazegawa 67 bus panelvan is a good and basic kit, easy to built. No details in the inside and I wanted to build it with its doors opened. Many parts added are evergreen profiles or plasticard.
I modified some parts as the seat to be more realistic.
the doors under construction
I hope you like.

hello,
too much time watching forum dedicated to model cars. I have never posted here but member since 2008.
I built models for a long time but , as a aircooled vw addict, I built now only VW and Porsche. I think it is time to show my realisations now.
