Did anybody release a kit of the 1993 Ford Probe GT? Thanks.
-
Change the thread to "Roundy-Round Models".

As clunky as it looks, it had to be safer than the F7U Cutlass, aka "The Widow Maker, aka "The Ensign Killer", and a few others that I can't remember.
-
"... and doubtless a lot of old fossils (like me) who know what the kits are and would want the stuff have fallen off their perches in the intervening time."
I like that one, Ace.
I have a handful of Parts Packs that I picked up at Nassau hobby back in the mid-sixties. Paid a quarter each for 'em. The Fiat is in the pile. And no, they ain't for sale.

As Ace said, before the Permian Extinction everything was loose in the box and the box was taped shut. Tire marks would happen after the kit sat forgotten in the back of the shelf for a few years.

"However, since I'm retired now, I don't have that much 'daily driving' anymore!"
Ain't that the truth!

It was so long ago. I only remember one name from back then.

This is where I saw them first, around 1966 probably at Islip. By 1970 the coupes were slowly being replaced, by 1972 the Vegas and Pintos were all over.
So true. I remember in the early '80s somebody had a coupe mini-Mod.

Great work. Takes me back to the days of Freeport and Islip.

Absolutely love Jr. stockers. For so many years they've been the unheralded backbone of the sport. Good job.

One of my all-time favorite planes (and the A-20, too). Nice work!

Jeez, I hope not.

Cool idea, nice paint this time.
I always like seeing period "what if" cars built to actual class specs, as potential competition to real cars.
Same here.

Criminey! The brain in my head hurts!. I admit that sort of frame was before my time, so whatever knowledge I have of them is second hand.
I have one or two of those Revell frames buried away in the basement. Think I paid a quarter apiece for them back in the day when the local hobby shop (Nassau Hobby in Freeport, i.e. Ralph's) was clearing stuff out
Buying the kit? Depends on the engine options (if any) and what equipment pack come with it.

I'm very happy to finally see the "dogsled" style Parts Pack dragster frame being properly identified properly as a Kent Fuller chassis, and not a (Scotty Fenn) Chassis Research chassis.
I always jump the gun. The Double Dragster frame is more along the lines of a Chassis Research frame. Mea culpa.

Looks like the Competition T has the FE engine.
And what engine is in the dragster?

The copy I had ran a page that started 'Who's Rich Morgan? Who cares? You might!' Just one of those little captions that stayed in my mind all these years. Never did find out who Rich Morgan was though!
Rich Morgan won one of the Revell model car contests.

I have a '70 GTX that I started some sort of project with back in '70 (probably killing time while waiting to go into the Navy). And what year did the AMT '40 Ford panel come out?
I'm sure there's one or two others that I started back then packed away in boxes.
