If you're looking to learn how to airbrush, I'd spend the $20 or so and grab a Badger 250. I still use mine for quick jobs. They clean VERY easily, and are stone-axe simple. Charlie Larkin

I think the most important lesson Steve Jobs, or any of his general ilk can teach is this: Hold fast to your visions and dreams, and let nothing stop you. On a side-note, I agree 100% with Joe C. and Mike Laliberte on the wealth/obligation comment. While I suppose there might be a moral obligation, "giving" takes many forms, and helping make personal computing (as much as I despise computers of any kind,) possible, along with its subsequent advances. All the other wonders of the world brought forth by not just Steve Jobs- but as Chuck said, Ford, Edison, Tesla, even people like Samuel Colt with interchangeable parts, making the subsequent devices and products a reality, are how these men paid their debt to society, and any additional should be purely of free will; the conscience is something no man can dictate to another. The inventive, entrepreneurial spirit, when used for the advancement of society, is probably the greatest gift man has to himself. Charlie Larkin

I like the idea of building the coupe as a rep-stock (shocking, I know,) and I'll figure out something for the rest of it. Those tampo-printed narrow-band whitewalls are going in the spares box. Charlie Larkin

Any thoughts on what to use on the Caddy for a 2-bbl intake? Those seem pretty scarce in the modeling world. Either that, or you could always do an "owner-mod" with the triple twos, which would still be pretty cool on an otherwise stock car. Does the Revell engine come with a 3-speed or Hydra-Matic? I agree completely. These cars were already rather low, at least to their contemporaries, and don't really need to be tinkered with too much. VERY nice job on the pin-stripe on the fenders. Charlie Larkin

Of all of those, I miss the 79 cent/gallon gas the most.... How I wish for 1998-early '99, when it was running about 85 cents/gallon. Charlie Larkin

I'd like to see if someone would want to make simulated exhaust, perhaps using a steam unit from an HO or N scale steam locomotive. The cylinder pulses occur fast enough on a real car that a fairly steady stream of smoke would be acceptable, although if someone wanted to rig up a sound recording to go along with it, that would be pretty cool, too. Interesting color treatment. If you do that with the white/cream fenders and orange wheels, you'll have a fine-looking build. Charlie Larkin

I think Jon's solution might be the most workable of the bunch, although Steve's would probably function well, too. If you decide to attach the window first, I would suggest using something like canopy glue for the entire assembly to avoid marring. I do agree with Steve and the others- pretty car that's worth getting together right. Charlie

it reminds me of one of Ford's stainless steel cars that they made for Allegheny Steel to demonstrate the versatility of the material. That body looks like it's the best vacuum-plating job I've ever seen. Very nice work, John. Charlie Larkin
