  1. I do not think it has been released in years. Not sure if it was released more than once. MPC I believe is the maker
  2. Casey that is a lesson I have already learned , good thing it was under 30 bucks.
  3. Dave both of your models looks good. I agree with you 100% on your view of this kit. We just need to remember that not every kit is made for what we want. Revell needs a kit to try and draw in new builders for cash flow.
  4. You are correct sir , but when you think they will deliver you let them talk you into just that. Hard to be that jerk but you do have to protect yourself.
  5. x2 , But I see I was to slow on the keyboard.
  6. This looks great. If you wanted to make it look fuller just put some black cardboard rings the same size as the tires in the bottom it would also help make it look full to the top.
  7. Just remember to wear your rubber gloves. when dechroming parts. All degreasers are bad for skin on your hands.
  8. You already have one of the tools that is widely used in this hobby by some of the best builders. Being able to ask for help is greatly overlooked. Already many good things for you to get. Just my two cents worth of a few things not mentioned. Pick up a few of the shoe size plastic boxes that have a good lid on them to store supplies and tool in . Just two or three. Dollar General sells the Sterilite brand that Ilike. A pad a paper that you can keep notes in , ideas colors things to do next time and things not to do the next time. Just remember you will get better every time you build a few more models. Read through the Tips and questions section in your spare time.
  9. Every seller is a bit different. Some times they have boxes full of the same stuff I have here. All kits 10 bucks. But then as others have stated two rows over and the prices double or are 8 bucks. Go 60 miles away to another show three weeks later and nothing is cheap. You just never know until you show up. Back when the Toledo Toy show filled 58,646 sq feet for two days the deals were easier to find. http://www.co.lucas.oh.us/DocumentCenter/Home/View/986
  10. Art are all the Chassis the same on them, way back? That sure would make it cheaper for Revell to just do the top side.
  11. Looks like a few I have sat in before.
  12. Looks very cool.
  13. Hobby Lobby has them from time to time.
  14. This is why you should not gamble.
  15. Great idea for the Military. One thing that I find strange is that it is air cooled but has an automatic trans. That kind of seems to defeat the purpose of low maintenance in the field.
  16. Looks good Ray. Now you have a truck to tow the Cobra with is a trailer next?
  17. Man this is killer cool.
  18. Welcome aboard Pat.
  19. Blue truck on box art does have stock heads.
  20. Casey I just looked at my Revell Trucks issue hoping to find the stock heads but they are not included. So I checked another one I have it does not have them . Bummer, The arduns will be fine though.
  21. The kits that were at the Toledo store are the Tennessee highway patrol. As Andy has stated much nicer than the Ohio State patrol cars that were out before.
  22. RMR does something for this kit I believe. Or did awhile back. I agree with Tom about not having found good looking tires for 1/16 scale. The ones that I like the look of anyway. Sorry about my brain fade , Yes I think an unchopped body would be a good thing to have for these kits, If you can find one.
  23. Gary this looks very nice. All it needs are a couple of ladies in the back. 20 bucks for two of these kits what a deal.
