One of them, before the seat belt law seeing how many kids you could put in a Matador wagon for a Dew run down to Stuckey's. Fall of 82. Mostly any time in a car before you were 18 and no parents was a good time.
A Batmobile for my Great Nephew to put together for his cousins ( my Great Nieces) and a 49 Mercury for him to put together. Also went to Ollies and picked up some Dupli-Color paint for a buck a can. The perfectmatch cans.
Good point about turning off the computer and getting to working on plastic. Just like anything else, thinking about doing it gets you nowhere. My old man has a favorite line from the Navy, do something even if it is wrong. LOL
Good luck with your adventure .
The drive for work would take awhile but the house down the street from me is one you would love. Does not have a basement but it does have a two car attached garage and a three detached with a lift already installed. The one bay is big enough for an RV. Cement driveway.

Here is a look for you.
These guys are right, if the body come off easily I would take it off. It looks to me that the plastic is black under the blue Paint. It also seems that there are many different pieces to this train so painting it would be easier in the end if it comes apart.
The Adds (for me anyway) relate to what you have looked (or something close in nature)at in the past. If you want to look at something better just go to Victoria Secrets site every once in awhile.
Would a dry sump oil pan work better for you to get the engine down farther? This a pro touring car so make the wheelbase and everything else to your specs.
