    Wheel suggestion: try some Pegasus, they make great low profile wheel/tire combo or try Aoshima there's are great too...

    I got my AMT/ERTL Chevy 454 SS pickup off of e-bay at my mailbox today. YAHOO!!!! It's the one molded in black, just as I wanted :blink: I'm like a kid with a piece of candy LOL...

    The Monte Carlo roof is as close as your going to get, unless you go e-bay and buy an MPC 72 Grand Prix but that is a little to expensive just to hack off the roof...

    The Boss 429 was available for only the 69 Mustang, Galaxie's came with a 429 but only with stock valve covers, and was not a Boss... I know my uncle bought a new 69 Galaxie with the 429, and then later traded it in for a new 72 LTD with the 429...

    Interesting subject and build. IMO the chrome wheels look better. I would like to build one with the low profile wheels/tires. Can't wait to see where you go with this one

    1:1 69 Chevelle's have openings on the bumper,so your bumper with the openings would be the correct one...

    I have this same kit and it is Fabulous. The parts are very well molded and detailed. Revell's quality and engineering has really paid off.
