  1. Brilliant marketing. Pandemic made people do more hobbies and home improvement. This is an incidental cross marketing, self contained so no shelf space needed, and holidays coming. They know we’ll find kits. These are for people who don’t. And not a lot of Lowes shoppers shop at Hobby Lobby etc.
  2. After original issue, they changed the seats(added seatbelts), lower front hood grilles, full exhaust, wheels, the badging mostly save for Mark IV on hood bulge, and trailer gone. Mark or someone knows first reissue after original. I think it was in Great Street Machines series “Street Shark”. Other issues in this thread
  3. https://us.coca-cola.com/store/apparel/collections/unity-collection?gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=CjwKCAjwzaSLBhBJEiwAJSRokmXt0V78vI5Gfwn_4c3mfRHgZ9irhua9og1sBf4Vx1aEM22pWvIfaxoCtDoQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  4. Nope. It’s a short wheelbase bug, shares chassis with Meyers Manx and TeeVee buggy. Fun kit https://www.eerokumanto.com/miscellanous/scale-models/cars/superbug-gasser
  5. The buggy in this kit is actually great rep of an early Baja 500 winner. Detailed up its awesome. If anyone doesn’t want theirs, pm me plz. I’ll try to remember, it’s either a Sandmaster or a Funco. Sorry. Chemo brain. And old.
  6. Mark, you’re correct, I’ve got a stash of these collected over ages all prepped sanded and dechromed. Same for the early stuff in double dragster AMT. Never had any of these kits, just Bantam and Fiat bodies. Going to be fun. My tri-focals are rose colored I just realized.
  7. A favorite movie car too, albeit seconds on screen in Kill Bill V2. Nice work.
  8. Casey, you’re correct. But I haven’t seen a lot of rose colored glasses here in general. People mock rivet counters, but it’s generally civil. Pretty civil in this thread, but not a new tool. But geez, it gets ugly. Oh, and to be the first one, only 59years late, why can’t it be built stock?? I crack me up. ??‍♂️??
  9. FIFY. ???‍♂️
  10. A rare unmolested Scout troop! Cool find.
  11. Mostly parts pack but released ~63 as double kits.
  12. The Cooler, about a casino “cooler”(William H Macy)a kinda sad love story, and Alec Baldwin as a casino runner at his ugly best. Public Enemies. Story of John Dillinger. Johnny Depp, great cast. The Bone Collector. Denzel Washington and a very young Angelina Jolie. Chasing copycat killer, that, unsurprisingly, collects bones. Great plot, engaging. I’m new to this thread, so if I repeat, lmk.
  13. I’m trying to figure out when critical Cobra mass will be achieved. ?? You do have a Renwal Mercer, which was a Cobra underneath? And the Willment Cobra, which was a Fiat 8V body on a cobra, right? lol. More torment for you. https://www.thegentlemanracer.com/2013/01/the-other-cobras.html?m=1
  14. RIP. Creative guy. Hope it was peaceful
  15. Electric motor torque makes it fairly irrelevant. Most scoot well anymore. Not giving up snails on a V8 for me though
  16. Didn’t say anyone cheap. Said “won’t” pay that, not can’t. Sorry for your situation. Hang in there, have faith in yourself. Model on.
  17. We want new tools now! We won’t pay that! Even 40% off. Ok. Choice is new tools or cheap kits. One run and done. Buh-bye
  18. One issue only in ?’78. Never saw them on shelves then. Were in catalog. 37 Cabrio nor coupe had dropped front. Gasser front end or stock. Sister kit Salty Dog 53 Stude. Nice box art builds.
  19. Looks like a Verstappen hoop rather than a roll bar on the yellow car. ?
  20. The Departed, Chinatown, the Two Jakes, and Glengarry Glen Ross. Epic casts. Epic dialogue and stories. Raw. Must sees all.
  21. Monte with “stick”. WallE chilling. Both rescues. WallE was found in propane cage at Walgreens, still with umbilical cord attached. Monte was burned with cigarettes and terrified of loud voices.
  22. My MCW resin in general > R&R. So if choice I’d pick MCW. Personal preference but nice quality.
