  1. Got a few Revells in the mail today...never had the ex-Monogram '53 Chevy before--got the current reissue--molded in white!, along w/ an extra Challenger SRT for a Hellcat conversion, the '94 Impala SS reissue (maybe as a parts donor), the most recent reissue of the '80 Bronco (built the molded in orange version 20 years ago), and the most recent reissue of the '94 Dodge Ram VTS (want to use the Challenger Hemi and wheels and tires on it).
  2. I have approx 400 Revell, Monogram, and Revell of Germany kits in my stash...(between the house and storage)...so I have enough for a while...will be interesting what gets released in the rest of 2018. There were a couple of the announced future releases I'm interested in (the '69 Boss 302 and Ford GT LM).
  3. I was minus 3 in 1967. But my current house was built in 1967.
  4. Love that green on the Demon...would like to have a model of the Demon. As far as the 1:1, I'd probably go for an SRT 392.
  5. I'd assume it's the same old same old. Note that the photo on the new box is of a '95-96--different mirrors and quarter window trim also.
  6. It's definitely 60s compact size, 105 inch wheelbase, 177 inch length. A bit smaller than the Falcon or Chevy II. Speaking of the Chevy II, the generation of Cresta that came after this---the 1962-1965 Cresta PB, has a passing resemblance to the first gen Chevy II..
  7. Similar temps here in NE Ohio. Was about 75 yesterday afternoon, is 75 now, supposed to be in the high 30s for the weekend. And I my furnace went out yesterday; got it replaced today...at least it didn't go out in January when it was around 0...
  8. That's just the box art illustration, though, the kit itself is pretty accurate for a '65, IIRC.
  9. Vauxhall Cresta. The '57-62 'PA' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vauxhall_Cresta
  10. I remember pay phones..been over 20 years since I've actually used one, though.
  11. I assume the hearing is to confirm the auction results and work out any issues.
  12. It appears not...I remember reading the Amazon reviews of the sugar free variety..they can have..interesting..side effects.
  13. Got a set of tires from Scale Productions today, pretty quick from Germany--ordered last Friday. Then even included a decal and some Haribo gummys.
  14. AMT doesn't make a '61 Ventura kit. What are you going on about???? This is the modern tool AMT '62 Catalina kit with retro box art, that's all....
  15. Yeah, I use HLJ pretty much for all my import kit purchases...hard to beat their selection and convenience..and love the private warehouse feature for saving and grouping items together for shipments.
  16. I suspect US vendors get very few of the Ebbro kits, and they sell out fast. Never looked for them from US vendors, I always pre-order them from Hobby Link Japan.
  17. Stop shouting. It doesn't, that's a 65...
  18. The Catalina was the shorter wheelbase Pontiac, the Bonneville the longer wheelbase....those are well known facts. The body is correct for a '62 Catalina---it's the '90s AMT tooling. It's well known what this kit is---a repackaging of the '90s AMT done as a tribute to a past kit--new tires and new box art. Not sure why any of this would be a surprise to anyone at this point...also, the '61 Ventura was a Moebius kit!!!! Get your facts straight...
  19. No, the Catalina was on the shorter wheelbase, the Bonneville was on the longer wheelbase.
  20. Got to around 40 today, sun came out late..supposed to be over 70 Thurs-Fri. I saw it got to 100 in Phoenix today, don't miss that.
  21. I've been searching for press releases, haven't found anything yet...I'm sure the usual information sources will post something when they hear something.
  22. Lots of good stuff to look forward to. Never had the Hasegawa Jaguar XJR-SC cabriolet, good to see that one back. Also looking forward to the various Skylines and the Mitsu Galant GTO.
  23. 33, overcast and light flurries here in Cleveland. Spring is here, in theory. But when I lived in Colorado, April meant huge snows, and when I lived in Arizona, it meant 90 degrees or more. So I can't complain too much...will be nice and green with blooming stuff soon.
  24. That's a bit extreme..they just need to work on their accuracy and quality control...raise their game.
