  1. 33, overcast and light flurries here in Cleveland. Spring is here, in theory. But when I lived in Colorado, April meant huge snows, and when I lived in Arizona, it meant 90 degrees or more. So I can't complain too much...will be nice and green with blooming stuff soon.
  2. That's a bit extreme..they just need to work on their accuracy and quality control...raise their game.
  3. They also have a website. http://www.b-n-lresins.com/index.html
  4. Bottom line, you should not have to fix these issues with a newly tooled kit if they had taken accuracy seriously. They cut corners to rush something to market.
  5. Take a look at the pic of the red car in Irish Murphy's post above...there is a horizontal crease running from the front fender, across the door, into the rear quarter panel. It's roughly at the bottom of the 51 decal, below the Die Hard decal and splitting the Valvoline decal. It continues behind the rear wheel well ahead of the rear bumper. Looks at the Sal Jr body pics Casey posted, it's missing...
  6. Oh well...sounds like Salvino's JR are novices to the game--- cutting corners to get to market quickly, and failed to sweat the details...
  7. They probably have more pressing business to take care of right now. Plus the two car kits they list for March aren't out yet...
  8. Molded in “construction yellow” Off-road knobby rear tires Miniature hard hats & construction site accessories Optional utility/camper Original decal graphics with multiple construction company options Retro Deluxe “Gear Hustler” vintage AMT packaging
  9. Check the other thread...sounds like this kit is going to have some pretty serious accuracy issues..
  10. I'll probably order from them again, been a Tower customer for at least 5 years..
  11. The kit has LHD and RHD parts. The builder in this thread is in Australia, so it would make sense they would go with RHD...
  12. The claim that was made was that the 1:1 Buddy Baker car was a rebodied Magnum that was bought from Petty....sounds like a tall tale....
  13. They are based on the Ranger, so they are BOF... Ford is building a Ranger Raptor, so a Raptor version of the Everest and Bronco may be coming down the road. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Everest https://www.caranddriver.com/news/potential-ford-everest-raptor-could-pave-the-way-for-a-bronco-raptor
  14. The leaf springs make no sense, as GM didn't have anything like that on their street A-bodies. A-bodies had coils. IIRC, even the old MPC GM NASCAR kits from the 70s had the correct rear suspension. I saw the explanation for the leaf spring suspension on the Salvinos FB page, and it makes no sense, sounds like a lot of BS.
  15. The Everest/Endeavour is based on the Ranger. It's sized between the Edge and Explorer. The upcoming US Bronco is going to based on this, with different styling.
  16. Got the email from Tower about Horizon just before midnight.

  18. The 600 Grosser has been done in die cast in many scales; never seen anything in 1/24th.
  19. That's a 90s car..nothing like the old 600 limos.
  20. Not familiar w/ Omni, but I do buy from Tower Hobbies occasionally.
  21. Cool..love these '70s 4dr subjects...
  22. Got some resin parts today that I'd ordered last May that had been lost in the mail and I'd given up on ever receiving.
  23. That's not accurate, though, since the '69 442 came out in March.
  24. Modification trends come and go.. stock--either original or restored--never goes out of style...
  25. For approximate release months, I usually check Tower Hobbies. https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVSEARCH=amt https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVSEARCH=mpc
