  1. Never heard of them either, but was curious and googled and found 'Ted's Modeling Marketplace'...maybe this? http://www.tedsmodelingmarketplace.com
  2. Definitely interested in one of these. An 82-87 style was also being developed? I'd be interested in one of those also.
  3. Ok, so it is the ERTL one...neat. I'd like to do a Boss 302 as a Trans Am race car..
  4. Interesting...who made that? I recall seeing a '69 Boss 302 die cast in 1/24th by ERTL years ago..maybe in WIX livery at one time?
  5. The '90s issue I built years ago was all molded in black. No chrome. The wheels and tires are pretty bad also IIRC.
  6. I remember seeing the beer livery kits in the 1979 AMT catalog as a kid and noticing they were not sold in certain states.
  7. The hood definitely looks molded in in those photos also. Mine shipped from Hobby Easy last week, will be interesting to see what's in the box sooner or later..
  8. USCP: http://uscp-ua.com
  9. Yeah, getting the Coca-Cola treatment. Last out in 2012 in regular form. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1115232-amt-amt1090-peterbilt-352-pacemaker-cabover
  10. Given that I've been an early riser for decades, I rarely ever have seen the late night shows in their normal time slots..I'm usually asleep by 10 most nights during the week. I do occasionally DVR the shows if there is a guest I want to see or stream them on the weekend to catch up..always liked Letterman over the years, liked Jon Stewart and like Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher, and John Oliver (his show Last Week Tonight on HBO is hilarious). (some of these guys can be political, but I'm ok with it). As far as Letterman's unkempt beard, I don't get the appeal of doing that..looks like it would be uncomfortable and itchy...I guess too lazy to shave in retirement. I've never been able to grow much of a beard, so I don't see myself doing it..I'm a Letterman fan from his involvement in motorsports and his show, but that beard is hideous...
  11. Fog yesterday, rain last night, changed to snow today...I think it's going to be a white Christmas in NE Ohio.
  12. I don't have the issue molded in aqua, though I think someone said it had the stock parts only. The only other old tool AMT 57 I have is an 80s issue. The PS issue has new decals, white wall tires, lots of optional parts. Check the thread on it for more info.
  13. Got the Pepper Shaker '57 Chevy in the mail today, along with some parts I'd ordered on eBay. It's been a long strange trip for the parts. From a seller I'd bought from before. The eBay purchase shipped via USPS First Class from Indiana on Dec 8th. Got to the USPS Cleveland Distribution Center on Dec 10. Then spent the next 10 days going back and forth between Cleveland Distribution Center and Akron Distribution Center (with 2 side trips to my local post office and a side trip to a random town 50 miles to the east) before being delivered yesterday. Nothing was wrong w/ my address on the box.
  14. IIRC, Revell reissued the engine parts packs in the 90s and they were a sales dud.
  15. Wow..price went way up...I got a set for about $10 a couple years ago...
  16. I got them from eBay a while back..I think there is a set on there now.
  17. That was the AMT '78-79 Bronco. The MPC Bronco was an '80-82. Would be nice to see the AMT one again by itself.
  18. I'm wondering what would make a good set of white wall tires..can't think of any right off that would be the right size for an '80s midsize. I have a set of Missing Link GM chrome wire wheel covers that should work on a base or Supreme version.
  19. Heh-heh... I spent 9 years in college and grad school, getting 3 degrees, which have proven quite useful to my career...never without work, my skill set always seems to be in demand and pays well.
  20. Not sure if I'm going to have a white Christmas...had a few inches of snow last week, it hung around through the weekend then melted the last few days when it warmed up.. was sunny and 50 yesterday.
  21. The Catalina kit comes with 3 wheel options--the 8 lug wheels (also in the Ventura kit), steelies and hubcaps as shown on the box art, and a set of 5 spoke Cragar SS style mag wheels.
  22. I've been ordering from them for over a decade. Never any problems.
  23. 2017 was a busy year for me...don't really need anything for Christmas..got a new house, new SUV, and moved 2100 miles. I'm happy. Looking forward to next week off, Christmas dinner w/ my siblings, and rest.
  24. Sweet...
