  1. Imagine what Round 2 could do with the Palmer molds...retro box art, as their 'budget' line of kits retailing for $19.99/ea maybe...
  2. Yeah, soon we will hear from some that thrive on melodrama that if we complain about Revell, they will stop building kits and that we should be thankful to get the kits we get..that silly nonsense seems to get posted every few months around here....
  3. I have the '72 Ranchero resin kit, very nice. I really want a '70 to go with it..
  4. Some great choices!! I'd like to see: 1) '18 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat (regular and Demon) 2) '18 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat 3) '18 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat Trackhawk 4) '68-69 Cyclone 5) '67-68 Cougar 6) '71 Dodge Demon 7) '70 Ford Ranchero GT 8) '70 Pontiac GTO Judge convertible 9) '18 Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE 10) '18 Chevy Corvette ZR1 11) '18 Ford Mustang GT350 But the reality is it probably will be yet another Hot Rod 32 Ford or something similar...yawn.
  5. I was just joking w/ the Tempo suggestion..trying to come up with something beyond boring, and not the usual predictable subject matter...
  6. 1984 Ford Tempo...and the second version will be...a 1984 Mercury Topaz! (not what I would choose, but I tried to think of what could be the most unappealing subjects a kit company could choose)
  7. I would think it would be on FB within 30 seconds of the display being seen by anyone with a phone...
  8. Looking forward to it...preordered one from Hobby Easy, seems to be the best place to get them for now.
  9. No snow yet in NE Ohio, but it was below freezing last night, I think. Going to have a high of 30 tomorrow. I'm ready for winter, though. Boots, heavy coats, new tires for my Jeep, snow shovels...I didn't need a snow blower when I was here in February for 3 weeks, so I think a shovel should suffice, my driveway is pretty flat and since I work from home and have 4WD, no rush to clear it out. It's strange to think this is going to be my first Ohio winter in 23 years..really enjoyed the summer and fall...
  10. The AMT 'Countdown Series' reissues from the late 70s always 'get' me..they were the first series of kits I built as a kid..similarly, MPC annuals from the same time period.
  11. It would be nice to see Round 2 do an '18 Camaro ZL1 1LE and Revell to do the '18 Corvette ZR1. I could see both of those as modified reissues from their current Camaro and Corvette kits.
  12. Same here.. I've kept my Denver cell number though I haven't lived there in almost 10 years. I get these calls with the same area code and prefix..they never leave a message. I block them.
  13. Good point about the chrome...did this kit ever have chrome in the past? IIRC the one I built in the 90s was molded in black, no chrome.
  14. I can't tell if it's a reflection or not, but does that orange Charger have a faint bumble bee stripe on the front fender also?
  15. Sharp...like the color.
  16. Had a great evening out at a Lindsey Buckingham-Christine McVie concert. Great concert in a small venue, sounded great, band was tight. Incredible guitar solos. Hadn't listened to Fleetwood Mac or LB's solo work in a while. He's a great guitarist and songwriter...
  17. These are fake listings. There was a thread on the fake China postings a while back here. Fake sellers that take photos from ended auctions and then post them.
  18. Looking good...like the hardtop body style of the '48-49. I think if I were to 'de-Foose' one of these, the main change I'd be interested in is adding the fins..the soft curved fins w/ taillights in them were the most distinctive styling detail of the '48-49 Cadillac, and the Foose car mostly eliminated them...
  19. Yeah, kind of an obscure econobox for them to kit...someone at Hasegawa may have had one 30 years ago..
  20. Haven't seen a 1:1 I-Mark or Spectrum in many years..kind of neat to see one in kit form.
  21. That is assuming someone noticed the difference. Doubt if anyone at Revell would notice that.
  22. I lived in the Florida Keys in the 80s in Jr high and high school. Beautiful place, but don't miss the hurricanes.
