Huh? It's the AMT '83 Camaro...no way would Round 2 be reissuing a Revell kit...was reissued around 15 years ago with a red car on the box. The original issue also had a red car on the box.
I'd love to see more of them...Firebird Formulas, Chevelle SS and Laguna, '73-75 Grand Am, '77 Can Am, '73 Buick Gran Sport, etc...I like that era of GM cars...
Mine was like that, luckily nothing bent. They should have had a cardboard support wedged under the windshield frame (as I've seen with other convertible kits) or removable molded-in ones on the sides..
Looks nice..looks better than the Trumpeter kit. There are many interesting subjects available only in die cast that haven't been available in kits and never will be available in kits. I recently got the early 60s Econoline pickup and van in 1/25th from First Gear and Norscot's '14 Silverado and '15 Tahoe, all nicely done with reasonable detail.
Both Revell AAR Cudas had serious body issues...the original AAR kit (green car on box) had a roofline that looked chopped--the side windows were too short and oddly shaped...the retool (yellow car on box) had a differently weird roof--the C-pillar wasn't thick enough and the rear deck looked too long..
In my experience in building web applications, there are many potential causes for slowness...web server configuration, available RAM, database connections, etc...the root cause of such performance issues can be tricky to track down.
I got this weird error I hadn't seen before in Safari. I had added a reply to a thread, then maybe 5 min later went back to edit it...get the error below trying to save the edit. If I refresh the page, my original comment is still there, so it hasn't been moved or deleted.
Such a promotion would probably work well for Revell, since probably 90% of their customer base is eligible for AARP...though probably true w/ Round 2 and Moebius also...
The '48-49 Cadillac wasn't available with a roofline like the Olds 88 coupe. However, the AMT '51 Bel Air ht roof is similar to a Coupe de Ville, and the '51 Chevy Fleetline fastback roofline is similar to a '48-49 Cadillac Club Coupe sedanette...
I use my cell in the car only in hands-free mode, paired via Bluetooth to the car.. I have seen laptop desks advertised that attach to the steering wheel, so you can use your laptop while driving...seems dangerous. I saw someone once using their laptop while driving and eating breakfast in traffic...they were drifting in and out of their lane.
