  1. Had some weird issues w/ the car alarm in my Jeep yesterday. Was on the phone w/ Chrysler UConnect service trying to shut off the alarm (it eventually did shut off).. Got to get into the dealer to get it diagnosed.
  2. Been rainy a lot over the last week here...68F and cloudy today, loving it...
  3. Odd..those last two posts attribute the whole quote to me, but that's not something I posted--except the last sentence.
  4. Got the Revell Foose Cadillac and a Tamiya '84 Honda Civic hatchback today.
  5. Apparently this is what the Pepper Shaker box art looked like, presumably the reissue will be similar given Round 2's retro release style.
  6. now if they were plastic foons or sporks, I'd be interested...
  7. I would assume it is the old tool 57, it's been reissued many times since the newer tool one came out.....
  8. I got my first AARP ad in the mail when I was 39...
  9. box art shows an engine. The snap kit didn't have one?
  10. The new reissue is the old General Lee kit with different decals and an extra set of wheels, labeled as 'Country Charger' now... http://round2corp.com/product/1969-dodge-country-charger-rt/
  11. The MPC Datsun pickup is one I am looking foreward to. The stock version hasn't been out in at least 35 years...I don't see how that correlates to a Dodge Dart, though
  12. It's a pre-paint..http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGTUN&P=7
  13. Yawn...just a bunch of reissues of reissues..the Gremlin was already out a few years ago as a '75 and '76, '74 might have some minor differences?
  14. That could work also..depends on what look you are going for...
  15. Yes, that is a 1/43rd '86 Mustang GT Twister Special II (never heard of a Twister Special II) from NEO. I have a few BOS, NEO, White Box and Premium X 1/43rd models in my collection. They are still in the boxes sitting on a model shelf for now, plan to put in some display cases eventually as I build out my hobby room in my new house...
  16. IIRC I got it and the other Crown Vic for about $30 each when American Excellence had a sale...this was late last year..
  17. Best of Show makes some nice models...I got this one and their fancier trimmed CV when American Excellence had a sale a while back...got a few of these and some from NEO and White Box, mostly 70s-80s full size cars.
  18. I believe this one is a reissue from about 1979-1981 of a kit originally from 1972....
  19. Only 235 and 556 orders to go before my last two are shipped...
  20. Probably will be more like a year by the time they finish all pending orders.
  21. heh-heh...I'm more 'middle aged' than old...still under 50...
  22. Tower Hobbies lists it as a late Sept. release.
  23. The slowness of the package moving through Canada Post, customs, and the USPS adds 3-4 weeks to a typical order. I haven't had a problem yet in getting parts from CS, really nice parts. Have done about 10 successful orders over the last couple of years..waiting on a Challenger Hellcat parts order now. I've always received a reply to my emails.
  24. The sidewalls also look huge because the wheels are small in diameter--what does NASCAR use--15 inch? Small wheels with largish sidewalls compared to typical street car tires circa 2017...
  25. And all old people are grouchy and live in the past...
