  1. I don't think they have put one out yet, haven't seen one yet in the usual places....
  2. I can imagine grafting an AMT '51 Chevy Bel Air hardtop roof to do a custom Coupe de Ville or a '51 Chevy Fleetline fastback roof...
  3. They are still processing back orders...talked w/ them a month ago, my two orders from June and July of last year may be coming by the end of the year at earliest...
  4. Yeah, I have my agent there...everything appears to be in order so far..it's a hot market in Central Phoenix right now.
  5. Looking good..always liked the Loadstars...rode in a school bus with a Loadstar front in the 70s, and a neighbor had a red Loadstar stake truck on his farm for years...
  6. Now if that was a Whirlpool High Efficiency top loader washer, I'd be up for a 1/25th scale one...along w/ a matching dryer.
  7. Keep in mind the AMT RR body was tooled up almost 30 years ago...
  8. My house in Phoenix went on the market yesterday w/ an open house, got an offer today... happy happy
  9. I remember that seller...bought a few resin parts from them without problems IIRC...
  10. That the seller is in China and that their feedback number is zero are red flags that it's fake...
  11. Could be...IIRC at one time he was using weird excuses for being late on delivery of orders--hurricanes, locusts, killer ants, whatever...
  12. What make are those two on the top right w/ all the opening panels? Don't recognize the box art...IMC?
  13. I thought they had been out of business for 5-10 years and that another caster took over their products (t.m. resin on eBay aka Time Machine Resin or someone else, not sure) ? It's been at least 10 years since I've bought anything from AF/X..
  14. I like the idea of a Challenger shooting brake, though for a vintage one I would use a lower roofline than the Vista Cruiser...
  15. That always seems to happen..
  16. Didn't mention those as I wasn't talking about simplified snap kits, note I said 'full detail' in a previous sentence.
  17. I'm thinking of getting one at some point..I like the retro styling, esp. the R/T with the Scat Pack trim.
  18. And the hood, grille and interior...the dash, door panels, etc were changed for '15..
  19. That hasn't been a new issue for a few months...did you email Gregg your new address? I did before my move, I recently moved from AZ to OH...
  20. I like the older subjects, have hundreds of kits of older subjects, but I like new cars and modern subjects also...it's absurd you can't get a full detail pickup truck or SUV of a subject made in this century, for example... I'd love to have a model of my Jeep, but the only Grand Cherokee kit is of the first generation from 25 years ago. Revell should update the Challenger to 2015+ spec and do Hellcat and Demon versions. A full detail '15+ Mustang and Shelby Mustang would be great to see. At least Round 2 is doing modern Camaros...would like to see more, though...a lot more. Edit--there is one modern truck or SUV kit--forgot about the Meng Super Duty..which is a great kit.
  21. There are a ton of modern subjects that would be very appealing in 1/25th or 1/24th. The problem is the US kit companies are playing to their core audience--the older crowd that is stuck on tri-five Chevys, 32 Fords, 60s muscle cars, etc...nostalgia sells.
  22. Chassis should be the same from '69-70... The '70 Rebel was just a restyle of the rear clip..the Johan '69 and '70 should be the same under the skin..
  23. I've had mixed results with Enterprise and Alamo/National in the past. Reserved a full size luxury car from a neighborhood Enterprise, got a Yukon (which was fine). In the last couple of years, I've used only Hertz Club Gold... good selection of clean vehicles, and it's hard to beat passing by the counter and going straight to the lot to a specific car (or lately a row of cars and picking out one).
  24. The original Pro Modeler one had stock car decals IIRC, so I assume that is what this...
  25. Looks good...guess you would have to find a Jo-Han '70 Rebel Machine for the chassis, engine and interior...
