Clearly Scale also has some resin Zender and Ronal wheels that are similar, but not exact.. http://www.clearlyscale.com/category/wheels-tires

Got 2 of the Suburbans today from Tower Hobbies--they look pretty sweet at first glance.

The Revell 340s are 1/24th Monogram origin, though... (AAR Cuda and T/A Challenger are the only ones I can think of).

Chase Bank has had a massive outage today..haven't been able to access my accounts on the website or mobile app for hours...very annoying. I've heard people have had issues with the ATMs, debit and credit cards as well not working... Edit: was able to login to the website and mobile app, everything looks ok w/ my accounts. Mighty suspicious to have an outage right before a national holiday..

The roof from the '51 Chevy Bel Air ht would be a good starting point to do a custom hardtop version..

I noticed that..probably will be at the preferred shops at the end of the month, and everywhere else in August.

Scale Pleasure Craft! Where are they?
Rob Hall replied to Jordan White's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
That's a neat kit, but it is very old. It would be nice to have some boat models of subjects from this decade or at least this century.. -
Next month--August 2017...pretty clear from the posts in this thread.

New wheel set from Pegasus: Shuey
Rob Hall replied to Drago's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Got a set of the Shueys from Pegasus in the mail today..pretty nice...they are definitely 19s, compared them to other 19 inch Pegasus wheels. They are deeper than the Hellas, look good. -
There were photos posted here a while back of a builtup one at a show...looked good. I haven't seen pics of the parts trees anywhere, but it's due in a month or so...

1/24 Pegaus "Wide D’s" #1198 info
Rob Hall replied to aurfalien's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Those are sharp..look great with that depth. I suspect that is D wheel combined with the #1195 wide tires w/ sleeves. I also notice the 23" rims have part numbers starting with 23...like #2301. -
Model King / Moebius Joe Weatherly '61 Catalina
Rob Hall replied to S. Svendsen's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Model Roundup has it listed as a July release...so I assume it's coming soon. -
Nice..never seen that kit built. I built the coupe version back in the day.

I got the McLaren, the Foose '56 Ford, and a couple extras of the '57 Ford tudor and wagon as early birthday gifts to myself a few days ago. My birthday present today was the Hasegawa BMW 2002--got the payment request from HLJ for it this afternoon.

Display shelving ideas
Rob Hall replied to Furiousgeorge's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I haven't decided yet how I'll set up my displays for built kits in my new house..thinking about those Carney cases or a lighted display case of some sort. Over the last week, I've been unboxing kits that I shipped from Arizona and putting them on shelving from Home Depot...I have my hobby room mostly built out as far as storage, but don't have my workbench ready yet. -
What's next in the Revell '32 Ford line ?
Rob Hall replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Most likely is we will see the Stacey David Rat Roaster reissued under a different name with maybe some changes to make it generic. -

I like the style...ordered a set from the Pegasus website. -
Poll : AMT '40 Ford or newer Revell ?
Rob Hall replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Since they all build different versions (AMT-deluxe coupe, deluxe tudor, deluxe sedan delivery; Revell-standard coupe, deluxe convertible), it's kind of apples and oranges. I like both. -
Poll: AMT or Revell 1940 Ford Coupe ?

Anyone like to see this one again ?
Rob Hall replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
People seem to refuse to believe real facts...JoHan has been dead for 25 years or so, attempts to reproduce a few items went nowhere..best to just enjoy what is out there.
