  1. Hope some Martini decals will be forthcoming from the aftermarket...
  2. In reality, yes. But for the models they probably did a generic figure.
  3. Pricey...I got my Land Rover on eBay maybe 15 years ago, think I paid maybe $50 for it MIB. I'd love to have the later US spec Defenders (in both the soft top 90 and 4dr 110 variations) in 1/24th..
  4. I have one Air-Trax kit in my resin stash, the '69 Mercury Marauder X-100...pretty sweet, lots of parts and detail. They make nice stuff.
  5. Yesterday Pod #2 was on it's way to Ohio....my move is almost complete. Flying back there next week to unload it, then back to Phoenix then driving to Ohio w/ the dogs in mid May..
  6. I'm surprised there isn't a chrome bezel/reflector backing for the taillight to fit into...
  7. How about that Aston Martin DBS is in the background? Is that a Juha Ario scratch built also?
  8. Between work, packing up my house in AZ, projects in the old house and the new house, traveling back and forth between them (2000 miles apart), I haven't had much time for anything else since late January. Focusing on priority tasks only right now until I'm fully moved to Ohio next month...
  9. Looking forward to unpacking my stash.. I shipped all my kits and supplies from AZ last month to my house in Ohio, in the process of packing up the AZ house and should be settled in in Ohio in a few weeks. Hopefully by Memorial Day Weekend I can start unpacking my stash..
  10. Would be nice. Never understood why the racing sub forums were so limited.
  11. There are many more differences than the tail panel, though. The Bel Air roof is different, interior, side trim, etc.
  12. Why not use the AMT 62 Bel Air kit? That would give you the correct body, interior, etc. AMT did a Hayden Proffitt version of that kit. There are too many differences between an Impala and a Bel Air to start w the Revell Impala.
  13. Yeah, the speed of ordering things online in the modern world and free 2 day shipping from Amazon (sometimes I get stuff from them on the same day) or 3 day shipping via Fed Ex from Japan has really spoiled me...have to remember these resin parts are hand crafted by a single-person shop items, not mass produced items in-stock at a large company. As far as saving points as a kid, I remember doing that to get a 'free' kit from MPC as a kid...Golden Wheels..
  14. Yes...my orders from CS often spend 3 weeks in customs....I just basically order from CS and eventually they show up and I'm happy...I don't get why it's so slow and pricey to ship from Canada to the US, compared to Japan for instance.
  15. Chevy and Dodge trucks would be nice, as would a GMC pickup of those same years, with the unique-to-GMC V6 they had then.
  16. Too bad those tabs are molded in the luggage rack. Will be ugly to remove and cleanup.
  17. Those would make a great line of custom kits for Revell...I esp. like the 'Slow Burn' and the 'Black Pearl' '48 Jaguar..
  18. I would assume they would change the box art so they can advertise them as 'NEW!'...otherwise, it would be a hard sell to push them unchanged.
  19. I think I'll do one with steelies and dog dish hubcaps.
  20. Probably change the box art and call it the Rat Rodster...
  21. Being a Japanese kit, I would assume it is 1/24th scale.
  22. Welly made a nice 1/24th diecast '04 MC SS.
  23. No idea...I got a couple more from Model Roundup a couple weeks ago for future projects....
  24. It reminds me of the PA Keystone logo shape on PA road signs, etc...now the Predator face is like the Lexus grille, a bit different from Toyota grilles...
  25. or some modern BMWs. Would really like to see some of the current models kitted like the M2, M3, M4, M5 or the gorgeous M6 Gran Coupe.
