Great build, very clean. Look into LMG polishing kit, it will take your paint to another level.

Sweet build!!! Love the grill, color, and the flying eye is a cool touch!

Nice build!!! Where are the wheels and tires from? Mike

Outstanding build I love the colors, by the way how did you get the carpet so even. I can not seem to get mine where it does not look "patchy"
The best way to get it even is to pour the flocking into a sifter and push it by hand and it will fall out evenly as powder and not in clumps.

Wow. So, umm, how about PM'ing me your address so I can send all my builds to you for paint? haha. Great job. That finish is SMOOOOOTH!
Is that a photo-etch steering wheel center?
LC
LOL, thanks for that!! It is Detail Master photo-etch 15 in. racing wheel.

Welcome to the forum, you Enzo looks real nice and clean. I have the Tamiya kit and after seeing yours, can't wait to build it!!!

Not a gold fan, but I really like that color on that car. The grill, headlight assy' to body fitment is not the best in that kit. Nice build!
LOL, Not much of a gold fan myself and chose the color cause its one I have not used, I do like how it looks in the sun. Thanks for the feedback, Mike

I'd say drill the corresponding holes on the inner fenders, and "fake" the plates with pieces of BMF. It's so thin it won't interfere with the hood closing. If you shoot some flat clear over the foil before you cut out the pieces you can knock down the shine a bit and make it look more like the real thing. You could even forget about drilling real holes and just simulate the holes with a dot from a black sharpie...
Thanks Harry!

Heres what the dzus fastener secure tabs look like. They are generally welded on to various locations where body panels need to be secured......
You can just cut a few from thin styrene or sheet aluminum and attach them just under the dzus screws you put on the hood.
It shouldn't be too difficult since you have the inner fenders as a mounting point....Just be sure to check hood clearance, and mounting location, in case the tabs prevent the hood from closing all the way...
Thanks for the info and pic!!! I wish those were included with the fasteners

What do all those DZUS fasteners on the hood fasten to???
Just a minor detail. Your model looks pretty good to me! The gold paint looks great too.
Not sure what to do about that yet! Any ideas? Thanks for the comments, Mike

Are you talking about Carmageddon? That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the show. I would like to build something like that, but the problem is that I haven't found many weapons in 1:24/1:25 scale. I did see a jeep with a Browning 1919 the other day, but that's about it. Does anyone have any other sources for weapons like the 1919, M2, Miniguns and other vehicle-mounted guns?
Found a website that has some small scale weapons, PSF Hobbies including the M1, M16, Tommy Gun ( stick and drum mag.) tear gas gun, assorted shot guns and a crossbow. Not sure about vehicle mounted guns.
