  3. Here's my workshop, It's all mine, all the tools are mine, everything except the Beer and friges.
  4. Thanks, hope you do use it. No i haven't but it's only monday. i usually only get mail from tuesday to friday for some reason.
  5. Ok well I temporarily put the "Midnight Exspress" toghether, I still need to get th engine and, get it painted, get it it. Also need to mount my tailights.

  7. Well i'm just waiting on a engine but, my dodge has some seroiusly faint but cool mods. Chopped off the little metal runners on the side windows also removed the vent windows, removed the door handles and sanded off the turn signals. took out the grille bars and put some grille mesh instead, put the cab toghether using the bumper bill sent me, and the existing parts aswell as some parts that brandon gave me that belong on a '55 chevy stepside pickup, i used the V8 emblems and the mirrors. put all the glass in and put the interior to the body, also started to finish the bed, put a nice wooden floor in it, to find out how I did it go herehttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=22153 Finally the bed.
  8. Ok i thought of posting this a couple times but thought nah, no one will use it. Supplies needed Scissors Glue, model glue or white glue ruler silver paint or BMF wood stain/ paint sample chips Time Your hands Pencil #1. go to home depot or lowes and get some of these, your choice of color #2. now take a ruler and the scissors of your choice and make a square the same size as the bed floor #3. now take your bed and a pencil and mark were the metal strips are #4. now cut the wooden planks out #5. now cut out the wheel wells #.6 now paint or BMF the metal strips #7. now glue down your bed planks. After that it should look like this #8. Now pop the bed on your truck and your done.
  9. Really because I reaserched the info from a guy who met with the guys who perchased the Firebirds and GMC's. Yep I'm 13. LOL yep i barely touch a video game controller. Too busy with life. Thanks, that means a lot to hear from a more exsperianced builder like you.
  10. Well the rockford files used 20 of this year, the '78's but after the filming ended in '80 they sold the 10 that were in good condition. Thanks John.

  12. Ok well I tested the color on a plastic container, I used the same primer, and the color I'm using. I think it's very close to the car color.

  14. I'm a self proclamed model truck nut and that's real nice looking, I really like the engine, paint, and steerable front end. A real beauty. Looks good.
  15. thanks, since my last post all the decals are done and cleared, got the glass in, added the mirrors put the rear end together.
  16. Well I finished the chrome using some testors silver I picked up today, I'm happy with the results, wish My LHS had some BMF in stock but oh well. Also finished under the hood.

  18. Ok well I detailed the front and rear bumpers aswell as the front grill and rear tail pan. I was able to make a trip to the LHS so the trim will be done tonight and maybe the bumble bee stripes.
