  1. Yep that's the kit I used. one thing I wish I had was the t-tops, could have just glued them in and smoothed it out. I watched it with my dad since I was 2 or 3, re runs of course, but my dad taped every epsidoe. I've been looking for it on DVD but no luck, the old VHS taps aren't what they once are.
  2. Hey guys a little update for yeah. I bought the paint today, Duplicolor GM Carmel, the exact factory color.
  3. Sure as long as it looks like a '69 chevelle on the outside and somewhat on the inside i'm happy. yep.
  4. Well if you look I haven't finished the detailing yet i ran out of black and silver aswell as some other stuff like glue. This washer tank is molded in so Thats a problem as well. I agree all the new cars I've seen either have whit or almost clear but not.
  5. It's up to your preferance for instance I build pickup's well AMT sells a vast majority of the pickup kits out there so I mostly build AMT's.

  13. Well your post got me thinking and I like the steel wheels but I have one problem in '69 you had three wheel choices on the coronet, and the wheels included in this kit are rally wheels and they were avaliable on the coronet R/T but not the Superbee, the Superbee had 2 choices the steel wheels and the police rallye wheels with the rallye cap, so I need to locate a set of either. Here are some pictures to help explain
  14. Thanks. not to make you sound dumb but those are the wheel backs.
  15. I did some more work. I detail painted the chassis and assembled it. I also started to detail paint the chrome but ran out of paint. Did the turn signals though. i put the body to chassis and poped the interior in, so that I could get an idea of what she's gonna look like. I also poped the engine in for a idea of how the red will look against the green. Now my favorit the stance, it looks bada**, I love the stance.
  16. I got primer on it this after noon there's definetly some bondo work needed, thee's some pinholes and a crack in the roof, almost all the way across it's been fixed but needs bondo, and yet again the hood cut out riges surface and need filled, and the roll pan should be smoothed in a little.
  17. Bill just sent me some before pic's. Thanks again Bill.
  18. Hi guys, I got this truck form Bill Rules. Great guy. It came in the mail yesterday, and today I assembled the Whole Chassis, I got the whole truck primed aswell. This will be white with grey glading. My first large scale and my first white truck. I'll get pictures of the primed body later, for now enjoy these pictures of the chassis. Almost forgot i got this truck built and falling apart, Bill got it a flea market. Here's my paint scheme here's my chassis
  19. Thanks, I actually have roots in Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, and Michigan. Thanks well I hope it is I'd like to make a trip one day out to BC and visit some family friends and a other good friend of mine. I'm the guy who maintains all 5 acres of land, It's a big Job, but I have a sertain tool that works to my favor, my rebuild 1960's Brigg's and Stratton 3 1/2 horsepower lawn mower, I rescued it and 5 other lawn mowers from dumpsters, the curb, and back alley's, this is my favorite it's the most powerful, and 2 or 3 pulls and she starts like it's nothing, runs super smooth, it's a great old girl. She's not much to look at but she's got more heart than any other mower I've ever worked on. almost forgot it sits on a noma body but it was transplanted from it's old mangled body.
