  1. Bead stringing wire – That's the answer!! Just went to the department store in town and bought some. Comes in colours too. Thanks. You lot didn't want to let that secret out did you?
  2. To take a break from modelling airplanes.
  3. Thanks awfully but I haven't got a micrometer. Let's try this another way, what does everyone else on this site use for a distributor or battery lead when they're working at 1/12 scale?
  4. I've not seen anything that fine in the shops round here, including Maplins. I was going to try and find some online but I wouldn't know what type to order. That's why I asked the question!
  5. Hi all Does anyone know what sort of insulated wire Tamiya use for distributor leads etc? I need to add more detail on this model and I won't have enough spare. I tried stripping out the core of an old SCSI cable but it's too thick. If anyone knows a supplier that would be great.

  8. Haven't had any wheel problems. The exhaust stubs were a challenge but they're on ok. Oh well, I'm off to town to buy a large file then...
  9. Hi guys Just finishing this baby and have ran into fit issues, namely the top and bottom halves of the shell don't come together properly. I reckon we're talking a good 1.5 - 2mm. Has anyone else been here and what did they do to put it right?
