Thanks Skip-I did and they have some super nice head lights. however this is a Ford and not a Bugatti. I have already gone way over budget on this one and just want to get it finished.
is it true there is a book out on Harry's Models? I would rather spend some $ on that.

And the ICE breathing dragon is now a thing. Good call guys. Last nights episode was truly EPIC, but Dany and John making whoopie was NOT a good thing. Granted they don't know, but Dany has to have an idea based singly on the way Drogon accepted John's hand and presence.
Should be a great next season as there is a LOT that needs to be resolved one way or another.
As a fan I'm happy.
They're saying the next, final season may not come until 2019. Not happy.

Have you looked into Pocher parts from Modelmotorcars?

Very, very nice

Next episode: Jon and Daenaerys will share The Iron Bathtub.

Alpine has the wrong hub-caps
Most of the Interlagos hubcaps I found show a knockoff spinner, and the Alpines don't. In any case, there's no telling what kind of interchangeability has occurred over the years in restorations of Alpines, Willys Interlagos and Dianalpins. They're all built on the Renault Alpine's original A108.

The answer is no, at least for my Entex kit. Smaller scale Revell versions have them.

Here's a Wingrove video on the 1912 RR. http://www.geraldwingrove.com/Rolls-Royce/R-R._Discussion.html

I trust Gerald Wingrove more than I trust a model company. There have been plenty of kits that didn't get it right. Oddly enough, it's armor kits that I'm thinking of specifically.
Contact him directly with your questions. He's always replied to me. http://www.geraldwingrove.com/Home_Page_/Home_Page.html

You'd go crazy trying to do this for very many shots on PB, but you can still open an image in your albums and take a cropped screen shot of it.

Doesn't download on Safari or Firefox.

Skip,
If you open any album, on the right side of the screen, you'll see a download album selection.
Thank you.

Jim,
You can download your albums from Photobucket. After downloading, you can upload your albums to the hosting site of your choice. I already cancelled my Photobucket account, otherwise I would take a screen shot for you.
I would say it's a personal preference for the site you wish to use. I signed up with Fotki. I have 100 GB of storage for $24 a year. I'm done with free hosting sites.
What's the downloading process? Can I download my PB files to desktop folders?

Wow, you got there!!!
Very impressive build. She needs some beauty shots now outside to show off.
Congratulations on finishing your masterpiece
Agree with outside shots. This is spectacular and worth every moment of agony.

Thanks everyone! The pictures to me look kind of compressed. Must be the resolution.
Here is a link to more normal looking pics: http://public.fotki.com/GilCosta/foreign_and_exotic/1955-mercedes-benz-/
I knew about the radio being missing and also the omitted luggage rail, but I didn't want to get into replacing them. As is also known about these kits, although perfectly engineered, the instrument panel, (single chrome piece), and the hub caps are a challenge to paint. For the dash I first masked with liquid mask, trimmed, primed, and painted before removing the masking. For the hub caps, I sanded off the embossed Mercedes emblems, made circle masks, primed and painted, then added photo etch emblems from the Hobby Design set after chroming them with a chrome marker.
Those photo etched hubcap stars really save the modeler there. You seem to have made all the smart decisions.

Superb work. You clearly have done your homework on this car, and made a great model. One thing that most modelers will miss about this kit – while there are radio speakers, there's no radio or antenna.

Amazing story about a pair of 300 SLs (Gullwing and roadster) in totally original, low-mileage driving condition. Heading to Gooding & Co. auction at Pebble Beach this summer. Video included here.

I don't know if scale is important to you, but I keep a bookmark for 1/16 car kits on eBay.

Looks good! There were few other cars in this series of models. You might want to seek them out and build them.
Check out Harry P's book and photo site. He built most of them.
