  1. Hello again guys.

Here's a quick build from aoshima, a curbside Toyota Alphard MSAS Custom.

The color is tamiya mica silver and the clearcoated with Gloss Clear from Mr Hobby.

I forgot the type of the wheels, but the wheel set is also from aoshima, 20"trafficstar if I'm not mistaken.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

  2. Hello again guys,

These are another toyotas from my collection, a Supra 300 GT Turbo and a Sprinter Trueno AE 86, both of them are curbside kits from fujimi.

The supra is a new build while the trueno is a rebuild project, the supra was spraypainted with tamiya light blue while the trueno was spraypainted with Tamiya Metallic Blue. Both of them were clearcoated with Gloss Clear from Mr Hobby.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

  3. Hello again guys,

Here's another NASCAR T-Bird that I have, this time is The McDonalds T-Bird which was driven by Bill Elliot in the 1997 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (then winston cup series).

The body was sprayed with tamiya bright red and then clearcoated with gloss clear from Mr Hobby, while the chassis was sprayed with candy red.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

  4. Hello again guys.

Here's an old kit from monogram which I purchased at a quite cheap price from ebay,

a Havoline Ford T-Bird which was driven by Davey Allison when he won 1992 Daytona 500.

I used mr hobby gloss clear over tamiya black black, and tamiya grey primer for the chassis, the only additonal was a set of engine wires.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

  5. Oh, you're SOOO out of practice...

    ;-P

They look great. The Dino is my favorite -- it's one of my top most-wanted cars, and I love it in yellow, which is what mine will be when I get round to building it. I'm not so convinced by the metallic blue on the TR (personal taste, I'm sure), but the build looks excellent. My only nit-pick is that there looks to be a bit of a gap where the dash fits to the coaming and at the undernose panel on the Dino. I've heard that there's some tricky assembly there, and that the chassis doesn't fit in if you build the body up as one piece, though, so it may be there's no alternative...

    Good stuff!

    bestest,

    M.

Thanks for your kind comments guys.

The fitment and the assembly was indeed very tricky on the Dino, I was expecting that the body would sit lower after the body was assembled to the chassis, but apparently not.

  6. Hello again guys,

I must admit that 2013 model building started a bit late for me, as I just started building kits again in late February.

I just recently completed two ferraris, both of them are from Fujimi. The dino was spraypainted with tamiya yellow and then clearcoated with gloss clear from mr hobby, meanwhile the 512TR was spraypainted with tamiya metallic blue and also clearcoated with gloss clear.

Both of the were built oob, as I just wanted to sync myself into building model kits again after hibernating for quite some time.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

  7. Hello guys,

These are all of the models that I completed this year.

I managed to complete 45 model cars this year, compared to only 27 in 2011.

Thank all of you for your kind comments, inputs and supports that you have given to me throughout this year which have made me a better kit builder.

I also thank all of you for sharing all of your magnificent builds this year; all of them have been great inspirations for me.

2013 will be a lot less to build because I only got 27 unbuilt model cars left to finish before I switch my interest to build motorbike kits in 2014.

May 2013 be more prosperous for all of us.

Well, without further ado, here are my 2012 builds in alphabetical order.

  8. Hello again guys,

I'm gonna close this year with an old and quite rare kit, a Lotus Esprit S1 from Nichimo.

The body was spraypainted with tamiya gun metal grey ( I have been very fond of this color in my recent builds ) and then clearcoated with Gloss Clear from Mr Hobby as usual.

It was a simple curbside model, hence the kit came with a half engine which only visible from the top.

I will post my 2012 builds recap next monday, on December 31st

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

  9. Hello again guys.

Here's an old and rare kit from tamiya, a Jeep Wrangler Open Top

I was fortunate enough to have been able to purchase this kit at a reasonable price quite recently.

It is a box stock build as usual, I only did a light weathering on the exhaust pipes.

The paint is tamiya gun metal grey and then clearcoated with gloss clear from mr hobby.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

  10. Hello again guys,

I just recently completed this one, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 from aoshima.

This one is actually a Japanese full version with complete engine detail and photoetched parts.

I was fortunate enough to have acquired this version of the kit from a fellow modeller in Australia.

It was spraypainted with Tamiya Gun Metal Grey and then clearcoated with Gloss Clear from Mr. Hobby.

I also wet-waxed the model after the clearcoat dried and light-weathered some of the engine parts.

The interior is a combination of flat black and brilliant orange.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

Here's a Nissan Skyline GTR R34 Z Tune from Aoshima.

It was built oob , spraypainted with Tamiya Gloss Aluminum and then clearcoated with Gloss Clear from Mr Hobby, as usual.

This is actually the second R34 kit that I built. I built a black R34 kit before but I really like the Z Tune so much, so I decided to buy and build a R34 Z tune.

  18. Hello again guys,

This is a kit from revell, a Kendall GT 1 Dodge Avenger Funny car which was driven by Chuck Etchells.

It was built box stock but I added engine wires and seat belt. I modified the front chamber in order to make the front part sits lower.

The color is the combination of tamiya black and tamiya pure white and then clearcoated with gloss clear from mr hobby.

What I can say about this one is that the decal set was disappointing and the application of micro sol didnt do much help.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.
