well i joined arc. i am ahaining so if you want to hit me up you can. I bought a revell f/a 18-e super hornet kit today.. so now i just have to do some research on the plane!

Ooooh, I LOVE this kit!!!!!!! VERY detailed with tons of working features! The doors, hood and trunk all open. The hood and trunk feature separate underside bracing. The steering works and the backs of the front seats even fold forward! Some issues were better than others as some had a lot of flash on the parts. It really builds into a very nice, accurate Turbine car though! Seeing this has me wanting another!!!!!!
i have one.. minus the motor that is up for trade..

i so would if i had that kind of cash. i found an old mini lathe that i am going to get.. but for now i am going to use my old ryobi drill and it has a huge chuck on it so i might be able to do what i need with it. for a lil while at least.

hey guys.. i am on a tight budget but i want to build a lathe. a lathe that i can machine plastic and brass on or even aluminum. I am getting tired of trying to use my dremel or my mighty expensive power drill. so any one know how to make on or even have suggestions?

to all friends of big block. He is ok. he has been super busy helping out his mom and his family. he wanted me to tell every one that he owes stuff to that he will have it out as soon as his money situation is better. and that all the packages that were sent to him arrived ok. and to Joe he wanted me to tell you that his dog destroyed the duster he was going to give you and he is going to buy a new one for you. and the lightbars will be sent out asap

well had some time at the bench tonite.. wanted to get the frame for my tarp top for the truck started. it is still a lil rough.. but all is good cause it will be covered by tissue and glue to for form the faux tarp top. well hope you all like it.. all comments are welcome.

well guys no updates for today. thanks for the comments. As for the paint i am going for a flat yellow with olive drap like accents and patina-ed paint. the story with the truck is that a couple of hot rodders were messing around on an old military base and they found this truck all rusted out in a field and they took it home and rustled up some spare parts to make this beast. I think I will use the ardun Flathead motor that came with the truck as the power plant.

Just add a go-kart steering wheel and a lawn chair. Can you say power to weight ratio?

this will be an adventure.. i know some of the pictures are c5 era but i am just using them for the general idea..I really appreciate all the support. i am going to get my stuff straight and get organized and start laying out the plans..

Hey fellow modelers.. You read the thread title right. I am going to build a corvette space frame based off the zr1. I have some reference pics but I need some more. I was just wondering if anybody has any pictures of any sort. I am building this with put drive train for right now. I am short on a corvette kit. Being unemployed sucks... so i am going to build this out of all my spare styrene tubes and flat stock. this is going to be a ton of work. to say the least. below are some pics of what i am going to try to attempt. If anybody has a spare corvette motor, trans axle, and suspension to spare you would be a god and I would be forever grateful.. Any extra money i have right now goes to my 1 yr old son and my bills... thx all.. my first construction update should be in a few days.. I hope..

I just bought a new corvette last night! 65k!!! :shock: :shock: :shock: I got the Z06 in black. I have in the shop for the rest of the week getting fun stuff put in it....( whipple charger).....................(New heads and exaust).........(New brakes) ...................... (and a new sound system)......

my father in law gave me a box and said open it.. so when i opened it there were about 200+ bottles of paint. patra, humbrol, and floquil paints.. they are all 30+ years old and all like brand new.. like 6 bottles of dio-sol, tons of hot rod primer and lots of other goodies.. nut the fumes wow enough to knock me out.. lol..
