You're right, Helmut; Franklin Mint, not Danbury. This is what happens when....

A  -You have too many cars (Is that possible?) and/or

B -You're posting in a rush because you need to get out to the front yard and pull weeds. We've had a really wet winter and spring in California. :)

I just sold one of those cars at the Brass Armadillo. With those wheels on it I may have wanted to keep it,lol

  2. Hello All,

A few months ago I posted on my social media this was happening. Now I am getting messages asking where I got the information because they can't find anything on it. I searched, including the Desertscaleclassic web site, not even a mention of anything going on this year.

This has always been a great model show by a nice group of model builders that make if fun.  I sure hope it gets back to normal.

    Eric,

Have enjoyed your pictures.  As an aside you might be interested in HubleyCustomDiecast at Facebook.  And, I have pictures of some of my Model A Fords at website Model A Ford Club of America.  Just look for Member Built Hubleys.  Always interested in discussion.  My current project is the A400 Convertible Sedan. Hello John, This is a great place to post WIP photos of your builds.

  4. These Mustangs do look nice the way you guys cleaned them up.

Interesting! Can you tell me the particular brand? Some nail polish remover is quite strong--I'm sure would take paint off as well. Some of it will eat plastic!

First, You want to use "Acetone Free " nail polish remover.  Acetone Can ruin the paint, in a hurry.   A note on the Acetone Free polish is, it does have an expiration date so check it at the store before you buy it. Sometimes it is hard to find the date but all brands are dated.
