  1. Well I just lost everything, had it copied but it wouldn't paste?????? Do you know if the Motormax is the same as the Yatming version?
  2. I-10 to CA would take you past all six Buckeye exits.
  3. Great idea Jake. I have a few extra Dually truck so this is now on my bucket list. I like the look of that type of truck. My 1/64 International
  4. That looks great, cool license plate. Be careful out in Buckeye, they have an all black plain wrapper 2012 Mustang. Even the windows are dark.
  5. Harry, WallyMart told me that about the Bondo about a month ago. By accident, I found it was moved to the tool isle next to the air tools. I guess they figure you are going to need an air sander to sand it and an air compressor to run the sander.
  6. The wheels look much better. Would you mind posting who made the car and what scale it is?
  7. Longbed is correct, it's a 1953 Ford COE from First Gear. I'm pretty sure that photo is one from the original sales fliers used to promote the truck when it came out. I probable have it here packed away someplace. I don't think there is anything wrong using another model or a real truck to mock up a box for a future release as this was. BUT, if it's going to be the 60,s truck, like the stake pictured next to it..... that is just a total lack of respect for the model truck builders. I'm hoping for the new kit, how could anyone go the that much work when the old box truck art work so readily available.
  8. You made those wheels look Great!

Tom, that engine is looking great. What color of green is that, looks to be the most accurate so far? Did the Cadillac air cleaner come in this kit? That round band (looks like the bell housing) is actually part of the engine block and would normally be green. AzTom
  10. I'm going to have to get one of these. I have a few of the diecast banks Ertl made that I was going to mod but this is so much nicer. This build is really looking great. I did notice that the round band on the rear of the engine should be green, it's part of the engine block.
  11. Thanks, I'll try him from ebay.
  12. I'm looking for some recent contact info on Matt Conte, Dencon Resins. The email I have is not being answered and I t looks like the web site is gone. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, AzTom
  13. I have done a few of these. The pinning idea should work fine. I drill the hole in each side as close to the center as I can, it does not have to be perfect. Many times I just cut a short piece from a paper clip and drill the hole one size larger. If the holes are off some and the parts don''t line up drill one side a little larger. Do this alternating holes until it does line up. I use 5 minute epoxy, coat the pin then push it into one side while turning it to work out air pockets. Coat the pin and work it into the other piece. Hold in place until cured. You are going to have some epoxy squeeze out of the joint. If joint is not visible I would just spread it out along the axle. If you can't get a long bit in there you can use a pin vise, it should drill rather easy. Start with a smaller hole first. I have had the hood off of those but don't remember how they come off.
  14. I agree with you Chuck. I was quite bummed when I opened it and didn't find the 38/39 cab.
  15. The 69 I once had. I will also need 2 for the 6cyl 67 with a 71 grill I had.
  16. That is a great looking model. Super job on the paint and decals. AzTom
  17. You got it! My 67 had the painted white grill and this guy I knew that worked at a Ford body shop gave my a 71 aluminum grill that had a very tiny dent in it. Looked better than the painted grill. I just remembered, I also had a 69 pickup.
  18. I need another one of the 37 Ford panels. I will also get one of the Nike Missiles, I have a piece of a real one. AzTom
  19. This will be a must for me. I had a 67 with a 71 grill in it. If it's accurate to the real one, I hope the make extra beds, the originals only last a few years, lol
  20. Here's a 1/32 I did of the same Z-28 above. And if I were to buy the new Camaro it would be painted like my model, lol
  21. Don't have much for you here. Diecast / Pressed Steel project in primer
  22. Great Work!
  23. You are correct about not seeing very many. There was a 69 Chevelle in Frost Green w/blk stripes running the streets when I had mine but no other Camaros. Ertl and Highway 61 has produced over 150 1/18 scale 69 Camaros and not one of them in Frost Green, Can you believe it? I miss that car more than any other car I ever owned.
  24. Great history, Art I always enjoy reading your posts, but you may have typo here. (MPC became an Ertl brand in 1967) Ertl bought AMT in the early 1980's and MPC in the mid 1980's
