  1. I have thought about it but never tried it. How soft was the styrene when you took it out?
  2. I love that old kit and you made it look top notch.
  3. Don't know how I missed this one earlier. It looks just like a nicely aged 1:1. The interior is a stunner.
  4. Looks great from my house. When I was a kid my grandmother sent me one of them for Christmas.
  5. Built OOB and painted with Krylon Red Oxide primer and satin Ivory. Only real fit problem was getting the interior to go all the way up in the body. The backstory is that it was bought from a farmer who had kept it in a shed for years. The new owner rebuilds the drive train and cleans up the interior to make it driveable and left the dash in the original color. Then he does the body work and shoots it with a few coats of red oxide primer and some satin ivory for the top and trim. Hope you like it and here are some cloudy day pics.
  6. That looks fantastic Bill. That was the last kit I finished before moving back to the wonderful state of Florida.
  7. Yes it does and I'm sorry about the poor pics. I'm using the same camera that I have used for years but I can't get good focus. It also has no adjustment for depth of field.
  8. If it were me, I would just sand the hinge detail away as it looks a little overscale to me anyway. I should be getting one of these in the mail today.
  9. I really like this one and don't worry about the missing mirror as a lot of vehicles came without them back then. makes me want to build the hard top kit that is in my stash.
  10. I don't know if you remember but you had a fair bit of input during my WIP thread. I took your advice on removing the side window trim.
  11. thanks for the replies everyone. Just wish I had better detail painting skills to do the body scripts.
  12. Top notch work here.I like it!
  13. So I was doing a WIP thread on this one several years ago but got sidetracked by a move and other life issues. Finally finished it and here are the pics. It's OOB except for the air cleaner from the Revell 67 Camaro, headers from the Revell 69 and mufflers from the Revell 68 Hemi Dart that have been shortened. The paint is Testors Mystic Emerald over Tamiya white primer. I was gonna use the black stripes but they fell apart.
  14. So here are some quick indoor pics to show where things are at: All that's left is the mirror, license plates and some underhood details. Next pics will be in Under Glass.
  15. Ditto ditto
  16. Very nice Curt.
  17. Now that's different.
  18. I love this one partly because the subject is so uncommon. I like the vinyl top texture. It's not overdone.
  19. It don't get no better than this.
  20. Well done Jeremy.
  21. Outstanding. Nice to see one that isn't a lowrider.
  22. Beautiful and well thought out.
  23. Nice work and I like the color.
  24. These are all very nice but Fred would have the big one if he saw Julios goat getting a free ride.
