  1. Hey bro, good to hear from you man, nice job on that VW!!!!
  2. Did you get a smooth paint job before polishing it? That thing is looking sick!!! Absolutely love the lines of this body, can't wait to see it finished!!!!
  3. I bought mine from Wal-Mart about 2 years ago. American Harvest by Nesco is the brand. This one has variable temperature settings. I always use the 100 to 105 degree option and never had any issues. What I like the most about using this gadget is that I am ready to paint in minutes after washing my parts and also after priming the models I am always certain to have a completly dried primered model before laying my paints. I use to wait a whole day after priming but I don't worry about that anymore. When I am done with painting I usually just leave the parts for 24 hours and that paint is completely dry and ready to polish and wax.
  4. I used the Detailer on these Stromberg carbs, it has always worked fine for me. Just remember that less is more......

  7. Hey guys, just taking a bit of time out to promote my LHS, I am sure everybody else has their own favorite and I am going to honor and help my own. I personally think that the owner of this one is one of the greatest friends I have, always helpful on everything I need. The name of the store is Overlea Hobbies here in the state of Maryland. He has a great and terrific stock of kits, from trains to my favorite of course, CARS!!! The name is Overlea Hobbies and if you live in Maryland or close enough you ought to check him out. His selection of model cars is pretty extensive and if he doesn't have it he will order it for you. I thought it was a good idea to do this and hopefully I can check out the next ones you guys will be posting....... By the way, his number at the store is 410-665-3622.
  8. Hey my friend, I don't know if you ever went to Overlea Hobbies off of Harford Rd. I have bought some of that stuff from him at times when he had it in stock. Give him a call, he just might be able to help you with that. His number, 410-665-3622, Bob is his name..... His address is 8411 Harford Road, Parkville MD 21234! He also carries lots of kits, a very good selection too

  18. I can't say my level of talent is as high as Bill and Jeff's, I mean, these guys are aliens but I can say that this is one of my favorite builds within my collection even though I lost the water hose in my engine compartment and didn't even realize it! Sorry!!
  19. PEPOSAS!!!!!!!!!! I like them all!!!!! ;)
  20. Very cool man!!!! ;)
  21. I know that a lot of the tuner guys are going to be asking where is the spoiler but I am not a big spoiler fan even with the 2 spoiler options in the kit. I am kinda old school so I decided to just leave it as is. Yes, it is going to be ready to go for the Tuner contest as Dub said but don't be too sure that it's going to win, there is a lot of talent in that club!!!!
  22. Hey guys, Cruz here just saying HI!!!!! I will be very honest and will tell you that I do not visit your site like I use to, I really wish that the guys posted more stuff, I think it's difficult to compete with other sites just like this one. Is there any way that all you guys can just come over here, not to downsize your site but I also think that you have too many categories over there and not a lot of members. Anyway, best of luck and God bless!!!!!!!
  23. Finally completed this one, paint is Tamiya Mica Blue, wet-sanded, polished and waxed Clear, pretty much box stock build. Decided to fog the windows a bit because I didn't like the idea of having steering wheel on the opposite side of the car!!!! Hope you guys like it!!!!!
  24. Darn it, I just started another project and you are kinda detouring me from it with this build, now I wanna do mine  Love the color and polishing work, outstanding.....
  25. I don't like any of them, I mean, I don't have a favorite   I like all of them!!!
