Hey Jeff, while Norm's stuff is always top notch you still can't beat real metal when you are able to incorporated in your building process specially when the scale is correct. Of course, between you and Bill Geary, your attention to detail always pays off no matter how hard it may seem to obtain your parts...........

Yeah Bill, I only have the other one that is stock, it has some PE stuff but not those side trims. I am pretty happy the way it turned out anyway, had a chance to work with it after the meeting so I should be able to finish it sometime this week God permitting.............

You can also try buying these adhesived back wood panels and replace the ones in the kit. They are a nice alternative to doing something a bit different.........

Hey Tony, looks very cool man, nice work on that brother. Jsut got into the forum and saw your post, I was out of town almost all weekend man..........

I noticed that the side trim in the detail set was very short to use on this model so I had to paint it with Aluminum using the Testors metalizers and giving it a buffing to simulate the ones in the 1/1 car, I really wish MCG can fix this, it is pretty noticesable and something they should address.........

Hey Randy, nice progress on that man, I sent for one of those kits from HLJ and never received it, I love that car too. Nice job on the carpeting man and the color is gonna be sweet.
