[Revell AG VW Samba Bus]

I couldn't make out part numbers in the pics........where are these parts?

They are attached to the underside of the swing axle tubes. No recollection of any plates, etc. in this area on 1:1 busses. I think they goofed.

One question I have about this kit is this............Does anyone know which year this kit is supposed to represent?? 1962-'63?

If I buy this one and decide to do a factory stock version, I want to get the exterior color correct and whatnot.

The decals say it is a '62. I am using Tamiya Mica Red and Racing White.

Does anyone know what parts #124 L & R are suppossed to represent? I have spent some time under old VW busses and have never seen covers over(or under) the swing axles! Is this a European option of some kind, I think I will remove the pins and leave these off. Anyone?
