Thank you for the kind words. I built this model in 2010 before the model kit was introduced. I prefer to build all my models in scratch for the challenge and enjoyment.

Hello everyone!

Here is a project that I accomplished a while ago after several months of fabrication and decided to display some pictures.

Entirely scratch built WFP-7564: cab, engine and chassis were made from sheet plastic. Sheet aluminum and tubing was used for grille, bumper, doors, exhaust, wheels and fuel tanks.

Plastic profiles were used for engine block, transmission is fabricated from fiber glass

Hello everybody!

Here is my latest project that I've been working on since the Lonestar. An entirely scratch built Volvo N-1023.

I used styrene to make the chassis, cab and hood. Engine, transmission and rear axles are made from fiber glass. Wheels, doors, bumper, fuel tanks, leaf springs and exhaust are aluminum.

My name is Matti and this is my first post on this forum. I see familiar names here so some of you might recognize me from other forums.

I build truck models entirely from scratch by using sheet styrene, aluminum and fiber glass.

Here is my latest project that I finished last month: International Lonestar.

i used sheet styrene for the cab, hood and bumper. Chassis is Evergreen styrene. Wheels are made of aluminum and curtain rod. Doors, grille, visor, exhaust and skirts are aluminum as well. I used Italeri tyres. Interior has vinyl upholstery
