  1. It took me about 4 months to build this project. Most of the time was spent on the body. One of the first things i did was block out the rear side windows. I also had to cover the front outside headlights and make the back window smaller. I used putty to accomplish this. After ALOT of sanding and primering i painted it using Tamiya black with silver around the bottom. While it was drying i scavenged the parts stash and came up with a hood scoop and back window louvers along with decals from a 70 Mustang kit. I had to make the back window smaller so the louver would match up with it. I also found tires and rims from a 70 Pontiac Firebird kit. They look "right" on the Mustang. So, this is the final product. Hope you enjoy it. I know i did/do. If i had a real mustang it would look like this. Thank you for looking. Sorry if the pics arent that good. I did the best i could.

  2. This may be off topic a bit, so sorry. Im a diehard Tamiya paint user until recently my brother in law asked me to paint a 72 firebird for him. When he handed me a can of duplicolor i looked at him like "you want me to use this?". I told him i wasnt sure about the paint but i would experement with it first. I tried it and it was one of the best paint jobs i ever did. Im sold on it now. All these years and i didnt know.
