this was built by a guy i know on another site and i bought it from him awhile back its a 1/24 scale model kit made up for a rc car chassis. it was built for a comp on that site in which it won first place

iam trying to find a resin 1/24 2008 scooby vent. ive found one but cant get hold of the person who makes it (garage hiro) so if anyone know of anywere please pm me or leave message here

ive seen a few people post up xmod body`s so that the only reason i posted it here and no idea about paint yet

this started out as a wrc scooby body for a kyosho mini-z rc car but with some mods its turning into a wrx sti with flared arch`s. so far ive modded the front fenders so they match the rear also modded the wrc spoiler so it now looks like a wrx one and also added a rear diffuser but thats not finished yet still needs something. progress pics so far this is what the front looked like before after start of diffuser

thiose two merc`s are absolutley gourgous when i saw that the first pic i thought that was real smoke coming out of the bonnets

thanks for the advice. ive been building two models for about 6 month on and off for diff rc chassis`s just to make sure they are the way i want so i understand that bit. i hope they will turn out the way i want them too

this was built by a friend on another forum its a evo chassis xmod and now its mine

i put some decals on a model about two weeks ago and they are coming off if you touch it alittle bit it hasnt came off yet luckily. is there away to keep them on before clearcoat goe`s on thanks for any help

heres two of my custom xmod bodie`s the subie was done just for fun i had the parts lying around every part of the body and chasis is custom not alot of the xmod left. the evo 8 was build to give the subie a bro its running a standard xmod chassis for now. both still need cleared but rubbish weather means all have to wait will try and get chassis pics when pb lets me new piccy`s and subie

thanks for the reply`s. heres a pic of the area that is scrathed it seems to be on the inside which is strange as nothing was inside when i took it out of the bag. i can feel the area and it doesnt feel that deep. as for future i cant get that in the uk as i was going to try and use a clearcoat. i will try those things you guy`s have mentioned and hopefully it will work -
iam building a model of the 1963 vw bus and now iam at the point of putting in the glass and it has some scratch`s on it is there a easy way to remove them ive seen on another site the guy used differnt grade wet and dry sandpaper then clearcoat has anyone done it this way before as i dont want to mess it up

NOT SURE THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE IF NOT CAN SOME ONE PLEAE MOVE TO RIGHT PLACE i collect 1/28 rc car bodys and since i got this body i thought to myself it`s missing something a cowl hood. so i got one from ebay and done some cutting and puttying and sanding. and here is the whole thing in pics i took. took about 2 days todo then about 4 days for paint

i was wondering will dot 3 strip this body of laquer and paint. ive nevr tried todo this before and want to make sure before i start also one other thing will it do anything to the plastic light cover as i cant remove them. the person i bought it from put some sort of resin or putty behind the light pods as seen in pics thanks for any help

iam building a chevy c1500 sliverado as a rc body ive primered the body grey (leting it dry for a few days) and was wondering whats the best way to paint it after smoothing the primer. i mean i want to do a two tone paintjob the bottom half will be black and the top either red or orange do i need to primer the top half with a diff colour or just leave it the way it is here is a pic of what ive done so far any help appreciated
