Is it a mechanical or biological problem? Mechanical, it's only money , biological, That sucks, hope things get better. Driving these cars is therapeuticI also have a Solstice that I autocross occasionally. Unfortunately I haven't driven it since July, can't push the clutch
-
I also play with real cars, and as an extension of that I also found that I enjoy track days. I drive a modded Solstice and took it to the track a few months ago and enjoyed the heck out of it, unfortunately I am in BFE, La and they have nothing here...except very crappy roads.

What is this "box stock" that you speak of? Even my 1:1 are modified before I get them home. Everything I build or drive has some mods on them, I am the weirdo that modified a Lincoln Mark VII at one time .

Yep, it may not be blue, but they carry it. You can also check wally world or target, just look in the office supplies.Where do you get that Blu Tac from? Local craft store perhaps.
-
Uhh, do you plan to offer those decals or vinyl sheets for sale? If so I want a few.

Sadly, it's a new Ferrari 458 ItaliaI can't even figure out what type of car this was...

Did any of the Fujimi MKI GT-40 kits come with the BRM wheels? I know they were in at least one of the MKII kits, I ask because I was asked by my aunt to replicate my uncles Race Car Replica MKI GT-40 kit car. The picture you see below is what it used to look like, unfortunately it was totaled two weeks ago due to suspension failure.

Completely scratch built

2006 Pontiac Solstice, so far fairly stock...but not for long

The way things are going with money now a day's anything is possable, Thank god we got money. Today my partner just called me from his trip to the toy convention in NY and told me we got our wish from Revell. They are going to let us have a 3,000 kit special edition run on the 1986 cutlass supreme. And the best part is they will be a lowrider version not the donk. They give us 1 year before they can release it them selves.
I want, I want, I want!!!! Did I mention that I want this kit?

Lol I'm scared to see what monster I woud make after hacking up a model .. it wouldn't be pretty... although the deathrace thing almost made me try to do some custom work... but I'm honestly terrible at painting otherwise I could probably get the hang of custom stuff... I really was wanting to join up with the deathrace build just for fun but didn't find styrene and stuff at H.L. so I ended up not picking up a spare model to do a build.. I don't want to hijack your thread so I'll go play with the search button for tips on tools and supplies =P again i can't wait to see this complete.. idk why it excites me so much I have always been a fan of mustangs and I love hatchbacks and your wagon mustang is going to be awesome .. like my dream ride.. in an odd way.. lol
Go to wallyworld or a hardware store and get some "for sale" signs, cheap styrene right there.

Completely off topic, but go with the Mazda3, I was looking for a new car about a year ago and looked at the exact same line up you are now, and went with the 3 because it holds it's value and is a very quality piece. I have had mine for just over a year now and have 43,000mile on mine(yes i drive a lot) and it still feels as tight as the day I drove it off the showroom floor. This may sound bad but bankruptcy could be the best thing for GM, they could loose the Unions (I expect UAW to be no more after all of this). drop money loosing brands (IE Hummer, Saturn, and Buick). and completely rebuild there dealer network. They need to sell Saab. They need to get back too there roots. have each brand have its own Identity. Chevrolet's can be entry level cars and trucks. then Pontiac, then Cadillac. and have GMC be fleet only.I'm currently looking for a new car and I have literally have been yelled at because I not considering any American cars. I'm looking at a Scion tC, Mazda 3, VW Jetta, and a Subaru WRX. My only must is a manual transmission so that crosses a lot of cars off my list.

Who casts that crew cab?

So what's the story? I went to the site to order one but none were shown, please tell me where to get one

Here this may help, at least it does for me when I want to know if a kit is worth spending my hard earned money on;

Thats great, I can't add anything else to this comment. It's pretty amazing. Some might say Va Va Voom...but maybe Va Va GINA? The hood certainly looks anatomically correct -
Sadly, I never thought about that...off to the Hobby Shop!!
-
I can't remember where I saw them, but there is a website that sells either machined or photoetched wheels and tires for the 1/12 scale cars, they were of the "protouring " variety. Can you help me track them down?
-
I agree, I purchased the charger nosed magnum and the casting is beautiful, at first I thought it was styrene.

Exactly, I want more in-depth builds of the newest kits available. I want to here all of the trials and tribulations of building the latest models out there. I also love the "Ask G&J", you two have a perfect sense of word play.i dont mind the "ask gregg", as I find it fun to read.I would agree with more how-to articles, especially on improving skills, and detailing....
one thing i always liked about SA, was when tim boyd, or whoever, would build and detail a popular, ready available kit, such as the green '71 charger buildup, or his '67 coronet, or whoever did the 2 part red '67 vette buildup. these were all a few years ago. I highly enjoyed those, and it brought needed info for building my own kits.

Yes they are still around and had a contest last Saturday (Oct 13) but I have not seen any pictures yet.
Do they possibly have a web addy? Thanks in advance
-
Do they still exist? Only reason I ask is I just picked up a bunch of old Model Car Mags on Ebay and I read an article of them in Issue #62, oh yea, Jarius... Wow you have changes

Just got mine, great as usual...but who fell asleep on the (D) key on page 21 caption 14

At the moment, the only one I can come up with is the Lindberg ZR-1, I'm sure there are others but well I am going thru a bout of C.R.S.
